Staying at this house in Hellerup was perfect for our family group of 8. It was just a minute's walk from the train station and about 10-15 minutes walk to the beach and strandvejen (beach road). There was a nice grocery store and bakery right next to the train station and kitty corner from the house was a pub/restaurant that had the best food that we all enjoyed. The house was bright and spacious and we enjoyed the outdoor space around the house. Liselotte was a pleasure to work with and made our stay very pleasant. She even let us use their three bikes during our stay. The au pair living in the basement apartment and another girl living in a main floor bed room were very quiet and respectful of our private space during the entire visit. The main floor kitchen, 1/2 bath, living room/dining room, office room and two outside patios and the 4 upstairs bedrooms and 2 upstairs bathrooms were all private for our use the entire stay. We hope to visit Hellerup and Liselotte's lovely home again.
An absolutely fantastic place to stay - the house is huge, plenty of room for all 9 of us in our family group. The garden was great for the kids with a large trampoline. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a 'home from home'. The location is excellent - very close to the train station, making it a great base to explore Copenhagen and the surrounding area. The beach is also nearby, and we were very lucky with the weather, so were able to have a city break and beach holiday in one!
We had a great stay in Liselottes house. The house was huge, tidy and clean, and very cosy. For a family with children it was perfect to rent a house from someone that also have kids. They played with the toys, and really enjoyed the huge trampoline in the garden. We had barbecue in the garden, and enjoyed the danish summer. Short walk to the beach and strandvejen, and still not far from the city center. I would warmly reccomend staying here when visiting Copenhagen:)
Our stay was not as positive as other reviews. We had not expected to be sharing the kitchen with other people who lived in the basement of the house, or to have someone else sleeping in one of the bedrooms. When I rang the owner to ask if there was a curtain/ blind for one of the bedrooms that had nothing on the window I was told that as I did not like the house I had better leave. This was 10.00 p.m on our first night and we just wanted to go to bed! The house is lovely but others need to be aware that you are sharing accommodation.
We liked our stay very much. The house is big, fully equiped and cosy. Liselotte was very helpful and concierge Christin is a really nice lady.
In all: a lovely experience which we would recommend to everyone.
Très belle maison, grande, propre, confortable et proche des moyens de transport. Nous recommandons vivement !
We stayed in Liselottes house from friday - sunday with 6 person´s and our little daugther. We had enough space- the house was as promised huge :)
We had a great weekend in a great house.
Thank you so much :)
The stay in Liselotte house was perfect. We had 3 bedrooms all made up for us, the house was clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were lots of toys for the kids to play with and space to play in. The location is very convenient and near the train station and shops in Hellerup, north of Copenhagen.
