Stay at Luo's was a nice experience. A nice layered space in a very local neighborhood. The real deal. Also Luo is really nice and helpful. Last but not least it's near the camera market. :-D
I'll be back
Luo and Yong were absolutely wonderful. From sending us directions from the airport to answering our questions for at least an hour when we got in, they were friendly, kind, and will be keeping in touch in the future. We were lucky enough that they were on a holiday break, so we went to the wall and got dinner together. It was so fun and nice of them to help us around the city.
The place is a nice, newer building with a doorman. We always felt more than safe. The place looks identical to the photos, and was in the perfect location. It is literally right by the subway. This was perfect because after a long day of walking around, you don't want to walk too far home once you get off the subway!
The hutong next to the apartment is packed with delicious food carts, and once you get to the end, there is a grocery store making for and even more convenient location. We would stay in Luo's place again!
decent room. the building has card reader systems for the elevators, so good security. waste disposer in the sink, which i got surprised to see it in China. subway line 6 right downstairs. 7 to10 mins' walk from Carrefour. the host is easygoing so don't hesitate when u need something.
Great studio if you want to experience the local side of Beijing. Reasonable price compared to other Airbnb offers. A good alternative to Chaoyang district (expat area). It has cheap eats and a giant grocery store ~7 min walking distance, plus the subway is literally right next to building complex. Beijing hutongs are only 15 min away by subway (~6 stops away from train). Studio has all western amenities, but only has japanese mattress (comfortable, but not a bed). Neighborhood is quiet, safe, and far more interesting than expat area. Host is incredibly responsive and nice. Definitely a studio for the adventurer who isn't afraid of Beijing commuting, language learning, and more authentic Chinese living compared to other areas.
Luo and friends was really nice. On time for the check in and very easy to comunicate with (both, before they arrived via email and in person when I met them), they left the apartment in perfect conditions.
I totally would like to host them again and encourage any other hosts to do so.
Luo and her travel buddy were great guest. They were excited to see the sites of Portland. Had done great research and were open to more ideas. Funny and interesting to talk with... Cool people would love for them to visit again
Luo was great! She was communicative and friendly. I would have her back any time!
Lovely Zhizhi (Luo) and Yong stayed at my room for over three
I feel in love with them both!!! they where respectful ,appreciative,
calm and super FUN to talk to!!!
I really enjoyed watching them interact in such a kind loving way with each other!!! what a beautiful couple!!!
I learned a lot from them as people and also from China it self!
My heart is still fuzzy with the warm feeling i had of them and with the beautiful thank you note they left me!!!
the room needless to say was left impeccable!
I want them back any time and highly recommend them and was a joy to be involved in helping them plan some of their activities!!!
I give them 5 STARS on every aspect.
loved them ,
Such a sweet and caring couple. Both tried hard to communicate well. Their English is more than acceptable and they very child loving. After a quick briefing for the day, they explored the area on their own and were back on time in the evenings. Anytime again.
