Having moved back to Salem Willows a few years ago my husband and I purchased this unique 1886 home and we have been working on it ever since. I have dubbed the work on the house a "restovation" as we sought out many building materials and fixtures salvaged from other buildings to use in our home.
There is a two room apartment in the basement, that is half above grade and also looks out on the ocean. Rather than rent it out yearly, we thought we would try renting seasonally, and get the chance to meet new people.
I am, as my son calls me, a "creative whirlwind" who loves to do many things, including, filmmaking and screenwriting, oil and acrylic painting, cooking and baking, gardening, beading and knitting. I work at the Salem Witch Museum and love talking about Salem's rich history. Traveling is also high on the list.
I love tea and brew a pot of whole leaf tea every afternoon.
