We're innkeepers/land stewards for a 120 year old company located in Piseco, Hamilton County, New York in the Adirondack Park.
In 1892, the State of New York created the Adirondack Park as a constitutionally-protected Forever Wild area. With six million acres, the Adirondack Park is bigger than Yosemite, Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Canyon and the Great Smokies National Parks combined. In fact, the Adirondack Park is the largest park — state or national -— in the mainland United States.
The Irondequoit Inn is located in Hamilton County, one of only two counties wholly within the Park, and where 95 percent of the land area is public recreational lands and waters. There are fewer than 5,000 residents and no traffic lights, no four lane roads, no fast food restaurants, no box stores nor malls to compete with the beauty and isolation of this section of the Park known as Adirondack Wild.
Come and share our view.... We would love to host you and introduce you to this piece of paradise
