The apartment was comfortable and in a great location -- very walkable and close to nice restaurants, caltrain, etc. Everything was clean and as advertised, though we wished there had been window coverings to provide a bit of privacy. With the window open, the train in the morning was loud, but since we were up early anyway it didn't bother us, and it was fine with the window closed. Karen was very reachable and helpful.
Since the window is upstairs and has a tree on one side and a bed on the other it never bothers me, but maybe I should get a curtain on there :)
Karen was an amazing host!
All we needed was provided. I spent about a week with another colleague and we were very well set with an extra bed on the floor. Actually even more than that. The apartment is very well located. Close to everything you need, including Stanford Campus. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom worked fine. Everything as expected! I'd definitely stay there again. Thanks for all, Karen!
Great location. Well furnished and as described.
Easy and responsive communication with Karen.
Everything worked out great, the place was quiet and clean. Quick walk to Caltrain and University Ave
Great location and everything was as advertised.
Thanks Ben, that has never actually occurred to me :-)
We stayed at Karen’s apartment during Thanksgiving vacation, enjoying the holidays as we would at home. Karen’s response to inquiries was speedy and the apartment nice and clean. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the utilities and bathroom were all convenient.
We shopped at nearby Whole Foods (6-minutes walk) and CVS store (9-minutes walk). A very efficient Stanford Coin Wash was within 20 minute walk. There was another full-service laundry on Emerson Street, on the way to Whole Foods. Service charges were based on laundry weight, so for small loads it may be a better choice than the coin laundry.
The Palo Alto Caltrain Station and Transit Center was a 7-minutes walk away. Getting to or from the airport (SFO) taking BART & Caltrain with a switch at Milbrae Station is convenient.
great alternative to the expensive palo alto hotels. great location.
Karen was super easy to get in touch with before and during my stay. The apartment is as pictured and very convenient to downtown Palo Alto.
Karen was great! Very easy to communicate with and easy to get a hold of.
The apartment itself is basically as advertised - great location within walking distance to Town and Country or downtown Palo Alto means everything you need is right there.
We slept three people there, with the third being on a single mattress on the floor which was admittedly a little tight without much privacy for everyone involved, but Karen made that clear before hand and we didn't have a problem with that anyways. Just something to keep in mind if you do want to fit three people here.
Overall, we had a great experience. I'd definitely stay here again!
Karen was a great guest, we didn't see her much but would definitely welcome her back!
Happy to have her back anytime
Great guest! Friendly, very easy to get along with, respectful of my space, and clean!
Karen and her mother and friend were just lovely people all around. Very considerate, lavish with appreciation, and splendid guests. They are welcome back any time. Kate
