Montreal. Music and sports lover and proud father.
Mike's apartment was in a great location! Very close to downtown and in very close walking distance to many important sites in Montreal. A 3min. walk to the closest Metro! The only two complaints we had was that there was no air-conditioning or fans in the apartment, so the accommodation was very hot and humid. Luckily, I read a review about this prior to our departure and brought a fan with us to use while residing here. The second complaint is that the mattresses were a bit hard. Other than these two minor inconveniences it was a really great place to stay! I would recommend anyone to stay here!
Mike was a gracious host who was really laid back. The flexible check-in/check-out times were convenient and the location of the apartment was perfect. And the price! Amazing.
The Metro is literally a 2-minute walk away and there is a dep right around the corner. The ONLY critique I have is that the apartment is very, very hot and stuffy in the humid Canadian summer and there are no fans so sleeping was difficult. Aside from this, I would definitely recommend Mike as a host.
Mike was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Good deal for price.
So, I have just relocated to Montreal and my mother grandmother and I all shipped my stuff down in a minivan. The day before we left, my mother asks, "Where are we staying?" I knew hotels would be a little bit expensive, and honestly a little restricted for our stay. I had never AirBnB'ed before, but I took a chance and looked for a place. I found Mike's 2 bedroom and immediately saw that it had everything that we needed. My nerves didn't finally settle until I had met Mike. He arrived on time to drop off the keys, and was very friendly and helpful. The house was so big but still cozy, , private parking in teh back, the house was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Having everything that we had at home available to us at home made life a lot easier during the two days of my move. My mother and grandmother could not stop talking about how great it was. I don't think they will ever stay at a hotel again. Thanks Mike for making our first AirBnB experience such a great one. I think my mom will be calling him up when she comes to visit me.
One more thing that made staying at Mike's place so nice was the fact that we did not feel like clients. We all got to know each other a bit, and it felt more like staying at a friend's place.
Fantastic location, good sized place. Just a five minute walk to a very convenient Metro station where two lines meet. Or if you drive you can park right next to the unit.
The 2 bedroom appartment is convenietly located in 5 min walk from subway where 2 lines meet. There is parking spot right behind the backdoor and is always available - it is priceless in Montreal!
2 supermarkets are 10-15 min away; public market is adjucent to one of them.
Kitchen is equipped with all neccessary stuff for a short stay - refrigerator, microwave, electro teapot, coffee maker and grinder.
Full bath is small but clean; towels are provided.
Bedrooms are far from each other and can easily accomodate owls and early birds.
We stayed in Montreal during summer days when temperature reached 30C but the appartment wasn't overwhelmingly warm even no central airconditioner.
Mike is very accomodating host and we enjoyed our stay.
I had a really good time visiting Montreal and seeing old friends. Mike is a friendly and helpful host who responded very quickly to my inquiries His apartment is simple and not very new but well situated near the metro and within walking distance of Ste. Catherine street and its host of shops, restaurants, and bars, etc...
Mike was great! He was so flexible with picking up the keys, and he left us coffee and juice for the morning! The apartment was super clean and in a great location. We would definitely stay there again!
I really enjoyed meeting Mike and having him at my space. I recommend him fully and would be happy to host him again.
