A modestly successful serial entrepreneur with two wonderful adult daughters and a sense of adventure, prefer new experiences to things i've done before, love taking walking tours in new cities or even Toronto where i've lived for 30 years or cities I've visited often, invariably learn something new each time.
Don't smoke or drink (nothing against drinking, just personal preference), an early riser but not a late night partier. Currently working on my fourth start-up, have taught marketing in the MBA program at the university of Toronto for 20 years.
Love to read, start my day online with the NY Times, WSJ, Economist and Financial Times, a bit of a political junkie, know a lot about a little (the investment industry, which is where i've built businesses) and a little about a lot. Have done lots of travelling to Europe, Asia, Australia, South America (often with my daughters when they were younger), did a trek up Kilimanjaro in 2004 - got lots more places on my to-see list.
