Though I finished law school, I have never worked as a lawyer but rather chose to stay freelance (initially as a teacher of English in Bangkok, then a translator and interpreter in Prague), and finally as a film and music festival organiser in Prague and around the world. Currently I co-own Eventival, a company that created the world-leading database software used mainly by film festivals in over thirty countries.
Travelling and meeting people (NOT just socialising, of which I get plenty in the film industry) are naturally among my interests, though they have developed only when I began spending a lot of time abroad. Early on I was probably more attracted by nature than by people (scary looking insects as much as spectacular sunsets), but ever since I discovered music and literature as the means of expression, I have not found anything more fascinating. I also like cooking and tasting food all over the world and so far I haven't died even after eating the strangest things you can imagine.
