This is a great apartment, with everything our family of four needed for a fantastic stay in Copenhagen. It is a quick bike ride or walk to the city centre, ten minutes to a metro, and lots of buses (though we didn't use them, found it easiest to get around by bike). The neighbourhood is lively, with lots of cafes and bars, but the street itself and flat is quiet and family friendly - lots of young families in the apartment block and a shared courtyard with play space. The apartment was big and bright, comfortable for four to sleep, and the balcony is the perfect spot to have morning coffee in the sun. Lasse was a very helpful host, met us at the apartment and provided some helpful directions, a map and information. I'd certainly recommend this apartment.
Lasse was very welcoming. He gave us lots of tips of where to go and had a map waiting for us to get us started! The apartment was in a great location with cafes, casual restaurants and bars in the next street as well as being very close to central Copenhagen. I would definitely recommend staying there.
Lasse’s apartment is terrific and Lasse is the perfect AirB&B host. His communication before our arrival was excellent. Having never been to Copenhagen, we had anticipated taking a taxi from the airport but Lasse gave us easy to follow directions for how to get to the apartment by Metro and ended up saving us a good deal of money.
On our arrival, he met us at the apartment and greeted us warmly. When he noticed that some of the literature he keeps for guests was missing, he left and returned 20 minutes later with some maps. He took us through them, explaining the city, gauging our interests and pointing out places he thought would appeal to us. Learning that we were interested in food, he promised to talk to a chef friend to get some recommendations which he later emailed to us. After that he left us to ourselves, although he made it clear that he was available if we needed anything.
His welcome really set a nice tone for our stay in Copenhagen. The apartment is ideally located, just half a block from the lake and half a block from the pedestrian street Blågårdsgade with loads of appealing shops, and cafes. The apartment itself is bright and comfortable, with exposures on three sides. It’s filled with books and quirky art work. It’s on the fourth floor so there are a few stairs – something that might be a concern to some. As a family of four, we gave our kids the bedroom and my wife and I slept on the king size pullout bed in the living room. We were all quite comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and Lasse was kind enough to let us help ourselves to whatever we needed.
The lovely July weather led us to have the windows open most of the time. The street, Baggesengade, is not particularly busy, but due to it’s location between Blågårdsgade and the lake, there’s a lot of street life and I’d be lying if I said it was quiet (although as New Yorkers we’re fairly accustomed to it). Neighbors from the building across the street also seemed particularly active, providing an early morning techno soundtrack on a couple of days. Also, Denmark is a very green country and trash and recyclables are separated into a mind-boggling number of dumpsters one of which appeared to be loudly attended to every weekday. This was more amusing than annoying however and didn’t detract from our delightful stay.
The reservation was canceled 14 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We fell in love with Copenhagen, and Lasse's apartment and location was perfect for the 2 of us. Mornings we had coffee on the balcony overlooking a quiet church courtyard, with sunlight streaming. There are several grocery stores around the corner with basic items for cooking, fruits, vegetables, and some larger stores less than 10 minutes walking. Several delicious bakeries are close by near the water.
This apartment was clean, and simply and wonderfully decorated. We loved the wide, wooden floorboards and airy feel. There was plenty of room for 2 of us (a great front room with large desk if you need to do work on vacation), and it would also be spacious for 4 people. Lasse gave us a detailed "orientation" when we arrived and was helpful with recommendations. As foodies, we found the neighborhood heavenly in terms of what it offered and proximity to fabulous restaurants.
The apartment is in a perfect location, walking distance to streets with active nightlife and bars, people sitting outdoors having local beers, and waterfront cafes where you can sit for hours. The street itself where the apartment is, is quiet; some nights you can hear people at bars nearby, but we didn't find it bothersome.
We rented bikes nearby and biked every day. There are several great paths right near the apartment, and there's bike parking inside the apartment's courtyard. We would definitely stay there again!
We had a great time in Copenhagen and at Lasse's place. The apartment was light, big and cosy and with a great location. Lasse was very helpful and a great host! I warmly recomend Lasse's apartment!
Lasse was a terrific host! The apt is bright, clean and very very cozy!
The location is also very convenient, coffee haus right by corners and shopping is steps away. We loved our stay! :)
Copenhagen is an open-minded vibrant cultural capital - all these parks and embankments, concentrated young blonde bicyclists and runners, cozy cafes, where no one give a look at you and relaxed citizens. Lasse's apartment is the same - artistic and convenient, close to everything.
We were 2 couples and there was enough space for privacy and common parties.
Don't doubt and contact Lasse who is a good young man and may be you'll be lucky to stay there.
Had a wonderful stay at Christmas in Lasses great apartment. The apartment is walking distance from the Tivoli and the main shopping streets. We left the car in a car park 5 minutes walk away and enjoyed Copenhagen by foot. The apartment was clean, tidy, well equipped, warm and quiet. Lasse met us when we arrived and we felt at home immediately. We would recommend this apartment to anyone.
We (a family with two little girls, including a baby) found Lasse's apartment very nice, warm and cozy. It is very well located respect to the city center (10 minute walk to the metro station of Norrebro, or if it is closed for renovation, a 10-minute walk from Forum one). The neighborhood is very lively and full of shops and restaurants.
The apartment is equipped with everything you need to live comfortably. It is located a few meters from the lakes of Norrebro, with the ability to engage in walking and jogging. On the backyard there is a large playground for children.
