Francisco was a fantastic guest. He took excellent care of my house and my belongings. He stayed at my house with his two sons, while he visited from England. I highly recommend him as your next guest, and he is welcome to stay at my place when he returns to Calgary.
It was a real pleasure to welcome Francisco and his family, even if it was a really short stay. They were very correct, pleasant and the children were so sweet. Nice moments spent together... you can come back whenever you want, for a longer stay !! See you soon.

Perfect guest! Everything worked out smoothy before Francisco's arrival. Communicating with him was easy. Check in and check out went perfectly. Francisco is very polite and courteous. Would recommend him as guest without hesitation.
Francisco was very pleasant when I met him at my apartment. He offered to help me carry two heavy bags of clothes to a donation center on the day of his arrival (a big help!). He was also very understanding of realtors showing the apartment on three occasions to prospective tenants (my lease was ending). As a hostess who wants to ensure that a guest’s stay is enjoyable and comfortable, I communicate this desire repeatedly to guests, mentioning that they should not hesitate to get in touch if there are issues or concerns. Though Francisco had my email, work and cell numbers, and I reassured him that I was in the neighborhood and readily available (and even in the building twice during the week to pick up my mail), I was only informed that he found my place to be ‘filthy’ in a scathing, public review he left on AirBandB several days after he checked-out. Though the bathroom tiles had been scrubbed, the baseboards had been dusted, the floors and sofa had been vacuumed, fresh soap, toilet paper, paper towels, extra sets of towels, sheets, and laundry detergent had been provided, he felt the apartment was ‘filthy’ since he surprisingly found dustbunnies under furniture that had not been moved in two years (I also hadn’t starched and ironed the sheets, but thankfully this was detail was overlooked). Though the issue could have been remedied if the time to inspect under the furniture for more dustbunnies was used instead to give me a ring, email, or text and talk to me about it, it would have been taken care of that day. I can’t help but wonder why a guest would prefer to be miserable in what is defined as ‘filth’ in a strongly negative public review posted several days after departure, rather than contact the host to remedy the situation during the stay. I hope that future hosts are blessed with the power of telepathy.
