Hi, I'm Jenny, a freelancer based in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.
This house is in a great neighborhood. There is easy walking access to many nice restaurants and neighborhood coffee shops and hangouts.
I only stayed for one night during my drive to Texas from North Carolina, but that bed was comfy. I slept like a rock. I didn't see much of Jenny and Ryan, but they were very nice and gave me the tour of the place. Central BBQ is right around the block, and it's delicious.
I didn't see much of Jenni and Ryan, as they had an event to go to the one night I was there, but in the little time they were there, Jenni got me oriented to the area and gave good suggestions on where to walk/eat. Had nice conversations with both of them, absolutely loved their dog Queso, and found the house really cozy. The room is nice too. Only drawback if you're a light sleeper is the noise from trains- a problem that afflicts much of Memphis. If I'm ever back that way I'd definitely stay with them, but try a fan (they have one available) or iPod for white noise.
This was a very pleasant stay in Memphis. The room was comfortable and clean. Jenny and Ryan were very friendly hosts and I would stay here again.
Jenny and Ryan are both really helpful and knowledgable about Memphis. Their house is spacious and tastefully decorated in a terrific location close enough to downtown, and surrounded by multiple interesting eateries.
Thanks Jenny and Ryan, for the stay.
Every thing was as I expected, and the good tips provided make my go through Memphis easier.
The neighborhood is worthy to stroll, you'll find some very happy active places to eat, to listen to music or just hang around
I had booked a room for 1 night having a short stop-over in Memphis. Jenny and Ryan were very nice, welcomed me even though I showed up quite late on a Saturday evening. Queso, the house dog, is so cute.
The room and the bathroom were clean and tidy with fresh towels and linens. It was very quiet and in the morning I could help myself to tea. Fresh water and a little chocolate awaited me in the room. The check-in and check-out went very smoothly.
The neighborhood is very nice and safe and I enjoyed a cup of coffee on the back patio of the Otherlands Coffee Shop. I highly recommend staying with Jenny and Ryan if you stop in Memphis. It's too bad that I didn't have more time to learn about the city, I'm sure they would have shared cool tips with me.
Perfect stay! Jenny and Ryan point me to interesting thing to do and address. Had great quality time with them! Nice place and a nice dog to play with! Missing Memphis already! Friendly people! Thank you!!
As advertised: private, back-of-house room with own bath. Gracious hosts and friendly dog. Good advice for the neighborhood. After driving all day Jenny pointed me to a good local for a late meal that fit the bill. Next day got a superior BBQ rec as well for lunch. If passing through Memphis in the future, would gladly stay their again.
Staying with Jenny and Ryan was great. The house is clean, the bed is comfortable, the dog is really fun. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a place in Memphis.
Jenny and her poochie were wonderful guests!

Didn't get to meet Jenny, just Ben. Ben was a great guest. We will host you anytime if you happened to travel threw Albuquerque again hope you stay with us. Safe travels Ben and good luck on your new adventure.
There are few people I would recommend as highly as Jenny. She is super reliable, considerate, open minded and brings the good vibes wherever she goes. She is the best type of guest/ host u could ask for.
Jenny is an extremely responsible & caring person. I met her traveling & she is now one of my good friends. Not only fun, but she is intellectually stimulating and lights up the environment wherever she treads. A great cook & very clean, i'd have her stay in my pad anytime!!!
