Deborah and Frank are a semi-retired couple. We love traveling and meeting new folks. We also love sharing Eugene with visitors as it's such a great place to live.
What a terrific first experience for us to stay at Debbie and Frank's house. They are perfect hosts - will leave you alone or entertain you, whatever your preference. Debbie even made smoothies and coffee for us on Sunday morning. We had a lovely time touring and talking about the history of their lovely old Craftsman. The accommodations were perfectly comfortable, and the house is very centrally located. We will definitely be keeping in touch with these gracious folks.
Deborah and Frank were perfect hosts and their home was very comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom was cozy and clean. We had a nice visit with them over a good cup of coffee.
My husband and I had a delightful stay at Deborah and Franks in Eugene. EVERY hotel in Eugene was full because of a huge football game and we wanted to visit our daughter the same weekend, so decided to try airB&B. Staying with D & F was just like staying and visiting with good friends! A cozy, clean bedroom, our own bathroom, good coffee and breakfast (D let us sample her morning greens and fruit smoothie!) and chatting with a couple who you just really liked! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
This was my first stay with airbnb hosts. Deborah immediately welcomed me into their spotless home. Their decor is an interesting mix of art from diverse cultures, art made by her children, and handcrafted quilts.
I am a former resident of Eugene and know that this home is in a good neighborhood. And as a woman traveling alone I felt safe and slept well. Breakfast consisted of good coffee, a toasted bagel, fresh fruit, and OJ. So much better than a hotel!
We had very good experience with Deborah and Frank. We stayed there for one night and it was like visiting our own family. I love fruits they shared from there garden. We would like to stay with them in future as well.
I miss you guys, With lots of love, Prabjot & Nitin
Deborah and Frank's house was simply amazing. My family and I stayed at their loverly home for little more than a week because we just moved to Eugene from Pennsylvania and were house hunting for our future home for the next few years.
"A little bit more of paradise" is located in a very convenient neighborhood which has very nice bakery, grocery store and some other local restaurants, so we enjoyed the convenience of living in the city but at the same time, we were always amazed that the natures were so close by. We saw deers visited the backyard every night.
Our four-year-old, Isaac, also loved the house because the house had a lot of children's books and toys so he always had something to play and to entertain himself when we were busy.
It was unfortunate that we could not meet Deborah and Frank during our stay because they were off for vacation but they were very considerate because they filled up the fridge with breakfast goods for us and left instruction notes for us to operate any appliances in the house. By the way, did I mention that their kitchen was just wonderful because it had everything you needed. Also if you come to stay at Deborah and Frank's place the front patio is a great place for breakfast and dinner.
Now my family and I are all move-in to our new house in Eugene and we will finally meet Deborah and Frank in a few days.
We will recommend anyone who wants to stay at "A little bit more of paradise" because the hosts, Deborah and Frank, are awesome and their place is amazing.
Deborah and Frank were perfect hosts. The home is comfortable and beautiful. Great to have conversation and advice on local restaurants. Highly recommended!
The location and house are very nice and the Kaufmans are friendly. Overall a very nice location and nice hosts.
Deborah and Frank Kaufman are amazing hosts, and better people. Their home is beautiful and very easy to find. The bedroom was cozy and homelike, I rested very well. They were greatly helpful in directing me around the city to the sites I wanted to visit. I also recommend shaking Deb down for a high-quality, world-class green smoothie for breakfast! They allowed me to come and go from the house as I pleased, and welcomed me into their home as if they'd known me for years.
Frank and Deb were great guests, and super active. I found them super friendly and very relaxed and flexible. All in all, I really appreciated their great attitudes about life and travel.
Deborah and Frank were great guests and wonderful people to get to know. They are welcome back to our home anytime.
Deborah, Frank, and I have known each other for almost a year. We met through a mutual friend, and I have stayed at their lovely home in Eugene regularly over the past year. They are fun, interesting people and wonderful hosts. We have enjoyed many leisurely afternoons chatting about travel, hiking, food, gardening, and life in Eugene. Their home is warm and welcoming: a comfy bed with a homemade quilt, a private bathroom, and a beautiful garden complete with chickens! A wonderful home-base for anyone visiting Eugene.
