I grew up in the Adirondacks and I love to hike, and I've climbed all of the forty six peaks. I also like to bike and kayak. I like to create nice warm spaces to relax and I think that is reflected in my cottage.

Cottage was very comfortable, nicely decorated, well furnished with cooking ware, and a great place to base our Adirondack adventures. Jackie was readily available for questions.
Jackie's cottage was the perfect Adirondacks getaway. My family and I spent the week skiing, hiking and relaxing. The location was perfect in that it was right in town, but also quiet.
The perfect house for a Lake Placid getaway - so cozy and close to town. Jackie is an excellent host and my experience dealing with her was seamless. Highly recommended.
We contacted Jackie before our trip and had warm and helpful conversations with her during our stay. Her cottage is a short 2 block walk from Lake Mirror on quiet Hillcrest Ave. It felt like you were staying with a relative. Everything is there for you at Jackie's Marcy Hill cottage. It was the central to all our day trips. . .from the numerous hikes (we recommend Hurricane Mountain for the 360 views), boating on Middle Saranac (two days of pontoon boat fishing), Lake Placid Center for the Arts
(where we saw the Martha Graham Dance co) or just walking around Lake Mirror each night after dinner. We thank Jackie for her cozy accommodations which made us feel most welcome for the week and a half we spent in Lake Placid.
The house is a small three bedroom holiday cottage with 2 full baths and galley type kitchen. The main living/dining area is cozy and there are two additional sitting room areas. The house was very clean and easy to live in and definitely feels more like a full time occupancy place than one that is only used a few weeks out of the year. The location is fantastic; there is a park with a play ground 5 minutes away, the main street and town beach are also a 5 minute walk. There's a fire pit, a grill, and wifi, whats not to like? AC is provided by two window units that did a great job taking off the afternoon heat. I would note that two of the bedrooms share a bath and the only way to access the second bed room is through the first. This wasn't an issue for use because we put our son in the second room and he goes to bed earlier than us. Full washer and dryer also available.
Another great stay at Marcy Hill. Rented this cottage for the second summer in a row. Great location with all the comforts of home. Hope to return again next year.
Excellent location. Cozy cottage with lot of separate nooks and crannies to give everyone their own space. WIFI works flawlessly, so if you need to take your work on vacation, you'll be able to say in touch.
This 3 bedroom Adirondack Cottage lived up to its billing. It met or surpassed all of our expectations. The location is great. A short walk down the hill to Main Street or down the road to the ice rinks at the Olympic Center. A lovely home that we would rent again. A great jumping off point for all your Lake Placid/Adirondack activities.
We had a wonderful stay at this darling home. Really liked the classic Adirondack design and furnishings. Wonderful location close to town. Terrific stay. Would like to come back next year.
Jackie is such a good-hearted person who radiates gentility and grace. Her enchanted cottage, and I do not use that adjective lightly, reflects her exquisite taste as well as her deep love for the Adirondacks. Not only is the cottage comfortable, serene and inviting in every way, it is unique -- there's nothing like it in Lake Placid. Jackie's place is a little bit of paradise...
Jackie is truly a kind, authentic and lovely friend and hostess. Her decorating skills are impecable and her Adirondack cottage so lovely, I would live there in a minute! It is very quiet, set back and private, yet an easy walk to Lake Placid village for food and entertainment. Perfect!!
