I am Facundo and I work with apartment rentals and hotels in Buenos Aires, Miami, and New York. We have several apartments in the same properties and we can accomodate groups!
Facundo foi muito bem organizado e atento em todos os momentos. O apartamento é muito confortável e a localização é ótima.
Adoramos a estada e pretendemos voltar!
Bonito departamento, cómodo, muy bien ubicado, cercano a lugares de interés y servicios varios.
Muy buena atención por parte de los anfitriones, dispuestos a ayudar y orientar respecto a las actividades a realizar.
Let me first start by saying that I am typically a pretty laid back person that can live with small problems and have rarely ever posted negative comments for places that I've stayed. There were a couple prior negative reviews but some positive as well so I thought we would give it a try since the area was recommended. However, the duplex at Atenea Suites that we were rented by Facundo was terrible and was not accurately represented by the pictures! There were various issues with the duplex including: almost non-existent furnishings (no paintings, no rugs, almost completely bare), cement floors that were stained and dirty, the bathrooms had significant mildew and were just plain disgusting, you are only provided with two towels that are changed every third rental day, there was barely any kitchen equipment (no forks, two cups, three plates, etc), there was an old tube style 21 inch tv in the living room and no tv upstairs in the loft area, broken blinds, it was very hot outside and the air conditioning kept shutting off and was not keeping the set temperature, and all of the walls were dirty and looked like they hadn't been painted in years.
As for the amenities, the exercise room was in disrepair, the equipment looked like it was from the 1970’s and the room was just not accurately depicted at all. In addition, the pool was empty when we arrived. The management company stated that it would be fixed that day but by 3pm there was still no work being done (it was over 95 degrees Fahrenheit out so the pool was important).
We spent about an hour at the apartment and decided that our trip would be disappointing if we stayed. We asked the management company for a transfer and thankfully they were somewhat accommodating. Facundo was not available and I never spoke to him but the on-site manager was able to switch us to another apartment that they owned in a different location. The management company transferred us to a much smaller studio apartment in Recoleta. The apartment in Recoleta was furnished similarly with very minimal decorations and kitchen equipment. Overall, the building was nicer and the bathroom was clean and at least the pool was operable. However, This studio was $25 less per night (as advertised on Airbnb) than the duplex in Palermo but the management company would not refund me the difference and basically lied to me by saying that the studio was more expensive than the duplex, which is untrue according to their own listings on this site.
Overall, I feel that the pictures for the two apartments that we saw that Facundo manages are very misleading and would not recommend staying here to anyone other than maybe a college student that is use to staying in a dirty dorm room. For the price, there are other apartments or hotel rooms in Buenos Aires that would be much nicer.
We stayed in this apartment for 2nights, the location is not ideal (even though in Palermo it is very far away), the decoration of the flat did not feel homey and the apartment was not cleaned (as told it would be). The price for the stay is expensive compared to other apartments we stayed in, in Palermo very luxurious with pool for less. A very positive point was the flexibility in the time (we arrved very late at night and were welcomed by a very nice and helpful young man
Apartment was ok but communication with host was absolutely terrible. Never again!

excelente personal, edificio seguro, zona aledaña segura tambien.
February 2013...Great location, great bedding, great TV, and basically clean. Was surprised the attached tower was being completely redone (including the cement balconies). I was told work started at 1100 am but usually noise started at 7:00am to approx 5:30 pm. Later on Saturday. This may not be a problem if you're out for the day. This likely will go on for months. I didnt ask for a transfer to Palmero as it seemed too far from Santa Fe Ave. Also sound carries from adjacent apartments. The guy next door yelled (and swore?) for 15 mins. at hiis wife and crying children then left for the evening. To retaliate she woke everyone at 6:00 am Sunday with lots of noise and banging of doors.(I would do worse.... lol). He made her stop. Not sure what security would have done but they did check out the same day. Didnt get much sleep during my stay. So was lookin forward to getting on a noisy airplane to sleep... lol... I did ask PS: for some cooking pots: a sheet to cover the stained loveseat: that the floors be swept (lots of hair. Given white tiles, the cleaning staff could wear hair nets?):why the phone and wifi shut off (periodicaly), I did suggest that mattress covers and pillow covers (be provided to save PS money (body fluids and odors seeped directly into the mattress), why the second hotplate wouldnt heat up, that the mattress needed to be flipped, and so on. Pretty standard stuff in North America. But Facundo says I was demanding? lol..Sorry for the confusion re check out time. At check in I did ask Paula if I could stay till the cleaning was done at 2:00PM . She said ok. But the checkout lady said they charge for checkouts after 1100. I said I didnt need the suite..... only a spot for my luggage. She did say I could keep the suite. In my experience Airbnb hosts are usually flexible with checkout and in .I was asked to sign a contarct(Spanish only). All in all, these are all pretty minor points...I would recommend Paza Suites to other guests but they should be aware of construction noise. Buenos Aires and the people were awesome.
We stayed at three different locations with this group and the experience was a varied one. On the up side the locations we stayed in were great, the staff at the buildings of the apartment buildings we stayed at were wonderful. And the apartments were well set up and clean.
On the down side, each place had some problem with it. The first place had a TV that was impossible to turn off. The second's air conditioner didn't work. When we showed up at the third place the elevator was out because of a electricity problem which also caused the water and the WiFi to be out as well. All of these things in it self is no big deal but that all three of them had some issue made us feel like someone higher up was not on top of things.
