I'm a single guy that likes to travel off the beaten path a bit. I've traveled all over the United States for work over the last 30 years and a little outside the US and would love to never stay in a name brand hotel again. My three daughters are grown and live in Colorado, Washington and California and I hope to use airbnb to find fun out of the way accommodations when I travel to visit them or make vacation trips.
Although a quiet and respectful guest, I do arrive late in the day at times due to flights scheduled to get the best airfare or travel "off the clock", (an old habit I'm not sure I'll ever break).
I have a friend in Boulder, CO that I met when living in Beijing who recommended Airbnb, (it's how he rents his spare apartment). Based on his experience this will be a great way to get off the beaten path and get closer to the communities that I'll visit.
