Love to travel!
We had a great stay! Convenient location and clean accommodations. Christine was flexible, responsive and unobtrusive. We highly recommend her apartment.
Great location and great host. Would definitely return. Apartment was good for four people, clean and comfortable.
Great place, great, awsome location !
Really close to times square and central park. A lot of transportation around as well as supermarket. Really convenient.
The place is clean, really calm and confortable. I stayed there with my parents for 3 nights, we were warmly welcomed by Christine, a really nice woman. She was always there when we needed her.
I slept on the convertible coach and my parents slept in the bedroom. The kitchen is clean and functionnal, as well as the bathroom even if it is a bit small...
I highly recommend this apartment and I would definitively go there again.
Clean and great location!! Christine was helpful with info. She wasn't in NY when we were there, but she made sure that we got in touch with her friends for keys. Our flight was delayed for hours, thankfully her friend was patient. Had a lovely time! Thanks!
This apartment was very small and in our opinion really should be advertised for 2 people not 4. The sofa makes out into a bed but because of the limited space in the living room, making the bed out leaves little room to get around and even place luggage. The location was ideal, very near midtown sites and subway transportation and the neighborhood felt very safe.. Although aged the apartment was very clean and Christine couldn't have been sweeter.
Christine is an extremely gracious host who made our stay in NYC a pleasure.
The location of the apartment provides relatively easy access to all attractions across the city and if you are prepared to use the subway it's a very easy city to get around. There is everything you need within a block or two including a 24 hr grocery store, The Soup Man that serves probably THE best soups you'll ever find on this planet and the best croissants at Cognac about one block across on 55th.
The apartment was very comfortable, the usual NY small but very consistent with what you'd expect to find in all large cities. We were able to brew a small coffee and make tea each morning, buy and store a few basic groceries and had all the amenities we needed.
A big thank you to Christine for providing us with so much information on restaurants, attractions and things to see and do in NYC.
Everything just Fine!!! thannk you so much chris...!!! I enjoy NY and your appartment location!!! kisseessss
Christine was the best host we could have wished for. Instead of arriving at 1 in the afternoon, we arrived at 1 at night due to a cancelled flight. Even though she had to work the next day, she waited for us at the appartment to let us in and give us a tour of the appartment. She even had a bottle of red wine and some chocolates there for us. We were in NY for a wedding, and Christine especially went out and bought a new iron so that we could use it to iron our suit and dress. She communicated brilliantly with us, and was very flexible when it came to meeting time for arrival and departure. Needless to say, we could not have been better off.
The appartment itself was also perfect for us. Although some might consider the building a little old here and there, this didn't bother us: we had a warm and comfortabel bed, a cozy couch with a big screen tv, and all the appliances one would want to use in the kitchen. Everything worked perfectly well. The location of the appartement was also ideal: a five minute walk away for the subway station at columbus circle, very close to central park on the north, times square on the south and 5th avenue on the east.
We would most defenitely recommend staying at Christine's place when you're looking for a place to stay in NYC!
Christine was a great host. Very easy to get in touch with and very accomodating. She left the apartment clean with clean towels and linens. The location cannot be better, only a couple of blocks from Columbus Circle (with lots of subway lines) and a 10 minute walk to Times Square. Ideal location for a tourist visiting New York for the first time. The apartment building is typical New York - a bit old, and the apartment as well needs some renovating but overall, the stay was great. I recommend this apartment for a couple or a family with a child.
