I'm from Austria but I live in Gran Canaria/Spain. I have a nice wooden sailboat in Puerto Mogan/Spain.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Herbert and Christina's sailboat. Herbert was always prompt with our correspondence. Staying on the boat was exactly as described in Herbert's description and in the reviews by previous guests. The marina is about 200m away with clean facilities. All the other people that were staying in the harbor were very pleasant and interesting to talk to. We loved being right on the water, sleeping under the stars and to the rocking of the boat. The bed was more spacious than it looked in the pictures, even for my husband who is 190cm tall. We both slept great while we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed our sailing adventure with Herbert and Christina even with some very changeable winds. Mogan is a quiet, charming little town with a nice beach and some good restaurants. There are public transit buses available in Mogan - a 5-10 minute walk from the boat - that can take you to about any of the coastal towns that you would be interested in going to. We found them to be pretty reliable and they were air-conditioned. We really enjoyed our time staying on Herbert's boat and will do it again if we ever get to go back!
Beautiful sailboat located in great marina surrrounded by plenty of restaurants, Herbert was a great host and took us out sailing down the coast, we even saw turtles. Bed is very comfy, we slept with the hatch open looking at the stars. All in all a wonderfull experience and would highly recommend. 10 out of 10.
A beautiful experience. Giulia and I we both enjoyed staying in this unique boat :)
The boat, Odysseus, is great. Small but really nice. Herbert is a great too, reliable, friendly and easy to get in touch with by sms or mail. Sailing with him is recommended! :)
In total this was a tip-top experience.
We had A very god stay in HerbertS sailingboat in Mogan . Waking up in the beatiful mornings in the boat, eating breakfast in the cockpit, having A god glas of vine in the afternoon. The harbour was quiet and calm. No noise during the night. It was A very pleasent and good stay for us.
Herbert met us at his boat the night we arrived and gave us the full instruction on the boat, he even offered us a day trip sailing if we wanted to.
The boat is nice and cosy with lots of atmosphere, having breakfast in the cockpit is really nice with views of the landscape and the harbour.
The toilets and showers are a short walking distance from the boat (200 m, no problem).
As said in the description, be aware that this is a boat ( interior is small). There is a lot of nice restaurants nearby (ask for the singing Italian chef up the alley, best pizza ever). we also recommend the fishermens restaurant across the harbour. Best beach is Anfi Beach (nice, clean and not to exposed to the winds). If you´re not into the bech life we also recommend a trip to the mountains (Roque Nublo) and then Vegueta (old town) in Las Palmas.
Ottimo ospite, gentile e simpatico! Saluti da Siena :-)
