SUPER.
Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen :-)
Peter is a very pleasant host. Very clean and comfortable apartment, great location.
Having this iMac was really helpful when my laptop suddenly gave up on me.
Thank you, Peter!
We loved every moment of staying at Peter's apartment. The apartment is well furnished, tidy and clean and was in a great location for us. It's close to shops, restaurants, metro stations and places of interest. Peter was also a great host. He welcomed us at the apartment when we arrived, showed us around the place and then also gave us good recommendation of places to eat at and things to do. I would happily recommend Peter's apartment to anyone looking to stay in Vienna.
Peter is the ultimate host! Very kind, responsive and clearly wants his guests to be happy visitors. He met us when we arrived, showed us how everything worked and spent time with us on the city map showing us places to see. The apartment is just as it is shown - very clean, nicely furnished, great location, quality linens and towels, freshly ground coffee every morning, great lighting, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, large bathroom and inviting living room to rest and watch TV (English speaking news BBC/CNN & Al Jazeera). We used the bikes daily and they were fabulous to explore the city and see other places than the center (the university, Danube Island). Thank you, Peter, for everything!!
Peter was a pleasant host, very responsive and helpful. The apartment was as we hoped it would be - it matches the description and pictures. It has no street facing windows which means it is fairly quiet. Good location, 30 minute walk to city centre and 10 minute walk from metro with luggage. Other tourist attractions easily accessible using public transport. We also used the bicycles belong to the flat and they are a great way to get around. We definitely recommend it.
It is a very comfortable and clean apartment. Equipped well - you have all you need (even more). Good location, close to metro and West Bahnhof. The host is very hospitable and thoughtful.
It is with "GREAT PLEASURE" we write this review.
We have traveled the the UK extensively along with North, South and Central America. We are presently touring several countries in europe.
Over time we have developed (what we use as) a point system and also bonus points. We judge every item necessary for a comfortable stay. using a scale fr. 1-5 points then bonus points. We do this because it helps us to try and find what we need over the internet. And. In most cases this IS difficult.
Peter's, "EXTREMELY CLEAN, VERY WELL EQUIPPED, and ORGANIZED" apartment scored the highest points!!! We never paid for A/C or a view. We were there during 35-38c temps and that was difficult. but our choice.
Peter greeted us upon arrival including all necessary details of which we needed to be aware.
Peter had sufficient amount of pristine clean white bedding, towels organized and folded to perfection as though this was a 5 star North American Hotel.
There was sufficient lighting, (2) two fans, freshly clean curtains on the windows a Mac for guests use and TV with minimal english speaking stations Incl. CNN.
It is refreshing to live in an apt.not having carpet for added cleanliness. Peter left more than sufficient coffee for 8 days. This is the first time we have ever been left an expresso machine (automatic) for our use. And. All the coffee we could use.
The fridge was also perfectly clean, not having left others half used items behind. NO Freezer.
The WC was spotlessly clean and decorated with style.
We mentioned in conversation how the bed was a little hard for us never expecting for one second or even thinking he should change anything. Peter picked up on this immediately. In a few hours came with a replacement. WOW!!! Who could ask for more?
Peter in our opinion was a perfect host and truly is in the right profession.
We could go on and on about a young man with whom we have never met until beautiful clean Vienna. But. I think we have said it all.
When asked to leave our opinions we do and sometimes not so pretty but always with integrity of what we have experienced.
Thank you Peter. And. To airbnb, Peter is a keeper!!!
Lynne and Doug.
This is a very small apartment in the spare, corporate style, as can be seen from the photos. But it functions well and was very clean. It is a short metro ride to the center, or 30 - 40 minute walk. a major shopping street is a few blocks away with a large super market. Peter was exceptionally helpful when flooding kept changing our travel plans. He is a real asset.
Unfortunately the apartment looks out on an air shaft in the kitchen and a narrow space in the living and bed rooms. The primary view from the living room is of the elevator shaft. I am a bit claustrophobic so combined with the small rooms this bothered me, though it might not bother anyone else.
Also, because it was warm at night during our June stay we left the windows open which made for noise from the restaurant below. It was fairly quite with the windows closed and Peter says air conditioning may be installed at some point.
We liked our stay in Peters appartment very much. It's cosy, very well equiped with WIFI, comfortable beds, a kitchen where you can cook a proper meal and it's close to the Westbahn Station. We specially liked his espresso machine.
