Dommage!
We just recently returned from a week stay at the villa. It was more then we expected. the view was great and it is across the street from a pretty secluded beach, by a reserve. It a 5 min ride by car to La Serano and the Guanahi Hotel. The pool was great and the tempture of the water was fine. The bedding was nice as well and the ac worked great. I have been to the island five times before, always stayed in hotels but this villa was more then i imagined and I am sure we will rebook.
Very responsive and reasonable. Has local management in place who was also responsive and helpful when called upon and critical in getting to the Villa and helping to transport your luggage.
Very accurate regarding description of Villa and location. Perfect for single family with 2-3 kids or two couple group. Would be good for hosting small parties while on the island as well. Super modern and clean lines. Sliding glass doors allow for garden views in every room and open practically the entire width of the Villa on both sides. Additional exterior sliding metal doors block sun from waking up late risers. No expansive view of the ocean, plants are more grown and obscure more than shown in pictures, also villa is practically at sea level, only slightly elevated. Great outdoor deck area and infinity pool (not heated). Both bedrooms have sliding doors that close off for privacy, otherwise when open allows for nice open layout. Kitchen has everything anyone would need to cook, clean, and support a family. Coffee machine also. A ton of closet space and small office for working. Laundry area not immediately accessible, must request access from maid. Daily maid service was included, however description not accurate when it says it includes turn down service and breakfast, which it did not (or maybe that was only during high season rates). House exterior area lights are rigged to close at 11pm out of respect for neighbors. Beach chairs, outdoor grill, and boogey boards provided at the villa, each bedroom also has safes. House needs mosquito light or make sure to bring insect repellent when mosquitos inevitably get in the house.
Quiet, secluded, gated neighborhood of villas right in front of Petite Cul De Sac beach. Need to cross the small street in front of the villa to get to the beach, but the villa is literally steps away from the beach. Very private beach, never saw more than 2-4 people at the beach ever. The main restaurant area of the island Port Gustavia is about 15 minutes away by car. However Hotel Toiny is 3 minutes away by car (great sunday buffet brunch and high end dinner), and Hotel Guarahini (biggest resort on the island) is 5 minutes away and they also have daily buffet brunch). Supermarket is halfway to the port, about 8 minutes. Location is good for seclusion and quiet, not for walking outside into crowds (but not sure there is anywhere on that fits that, which is the beauty of St. Barts).
Overall we would come back, as we are a fan of seclusion and modern design and open layouts. Distance from Gustavia wasn't a big deal, the whole island is only 8 square kilometers and you can get anywhere by car along the one main road that rings the island.
