With years of experience in the web and startup scene in Europe, Ricardo matches a good technical understanding with a passion for marketing and communication. He's also passionate about good customer care and education reform, which led him to create the Movement for Change in Education which he currently heads. When he was young(er) he played with Lego’s, founded newspapers, created a (now sold) startup and was into politics. An early supporter of a startup ecosystem in Europe, Ricardo was the co-founder and producer of SWITCH Conference - which WIRED called one of the top tech events in Europe. Over the years Ricardo worked with companies such as Microsoft, BMW, Sofitel, Wooga, Evernote, TNW and others. His work and speaking endeavours got him quoted and featured on international publications such as The Economist, France 24, TV Tokyo and many more. Ricardo loves the people in his life, learning, meeting new people, getting amazed, travelling and figuring out solutions for otherwise unsolvable problems.
