The studio is very comfortable and convenient in terms of transportation, Laurent is very helpful and everything is perfect except for the elevator and wifi.
Laurent was extremely nice and accommodating. He was flexible with the check-in / checkout times and always replied promptly to any of my enquiries.
The 10th district is a GREAT area because you have a mixed atmosphere: it is both popular and trendy. It’s pretty, diverse, surrounded of bistrots, small boutiques, mini markets, bars and restaurants. It is extremely well connected; you can even walk to downtown if you enjoy walking.
There are two mini-markets a few steps from the building and lots of stores and bistrots around.
The building stairs are not very clean and well lit, but that’s out of Laurent’s control. When I was there I could notice that the elevator was being fixed, so maybe it will be functioning soon. I was there on a winter and was not cold at all at the apartment.
I loved the view one can enjoy from any of the three little balconies.
The only downside for me is that there is no WIFI, something somewhat important for travellers who do not have a data plan for France and need to be available online.
All in all, I had an excellent experience. The apartment is enjoyable, I definitely recommend you to stay in it.
Laurent has been an excellent host and his apartment is an ideal place for Londoners (or anyone else anyway!) who wants to discover Paris.
The location is perfect, walking distance from Garé du Nord and connected with several tube stations around.
Despite being a cosy place it had all the basics to become the "base-camp" of the "Paris explorer".
The flat was exactly as the pictures and Laurent was a helpful host. I strongly recommend his apartment.
Multissimas gracias :)
Laurent was a fantastic host (even though we didn't get to meet). He gave very clear instructions for getting to the apartment. The location was great, especially with the shop across the street. The bed was comfortable and I loved the coffee machine in the kitchen! The only things I can think of that might need improving is that the kitchen could do with a better knife (chopping onions was a bit difficult) and some better pillows. Overall, a wonderful apartment with a great view. I would stay again and recommend.
Ok I will try to find better pillows
and did you try the big knife???
isn t enough for onions???
maybe I just need to sharpen it
The studio is wonderful.
Fresh towels and linens.
Great view from the balconies.
Thr host is friendly and hery helpful.
You must keep in mind that if you go in the winter it's a bit cold in the studio, about 18 degrees.
No doors for the bathroom.
Overall a good experience at great value. Would recommend it!
Thanks a lot.. :)
I will buy a blanket as soon as possible...:)
Everything was ok, the studio is clean and comfortable. The only bad feature is that it is at the sixth floor with no elevator.
Laurent is very kind, he even helped my girlfriend to carry her suitcase in the apartment.
Merci merci merci, laurent!
thanks for the advice...the real problem I think was because during this holiday time, I wasn t there to take off the previous wet towels...
but I will think about this box idea...:)
Great apartment! Lots of natural light. The immediate neighborhood is mostly quiet, but close enough to all you (website hidden) Martin is a great area worth exploring.
Laurent was very helpful and always prompt to respond.
I would stay here again.
We didn't have the pleasure to meet Laurent, but he left a bottle of wine on the table for us! The apartment is perfect for a couple. You can reach the next metro station within a 5 min walk, there is a supermarket, an awesome bakery and a butcher store right next door. Within a 10 min walk you can reach the lovely river St. Martin with nice restaurants and bars. The apartment was clean and in the kitchen are some basic cooking tools, although not enough to prepare anything more gourmet than pasta. There's a coffee machine with more than enough coffee capsules to use.
Since we went there in December, it was rather cold in the apartment because there is only one heater that actually works, located in the bathroom. The bathroom is spacious with a bathtub, but there is only a curtain between the bathroom and the rest of the flat, no solid door.
Over all we had a wonderful stay in Paris and can definitely recommend Laurent's apartment to everybody!
hi sorry for the key, usually there is another alternative, unfortunatly I lost the mailbox key and for the moment I didnt find the time and the solution to change that...:) next time maybe
Great cosy apartment. Nice area in Paris very close to several metro train stations. Close to food markets, restaurants and cafes. Did not meet host Laurent but seemed easy going and accommodating through airing communication.
