We had a wonderful time at Laurents place. The place is small, but very well equipped. The neighbourhood of the apartment is perfect. Every time we tried to go somewhere else for dinner or drinks, we always ended up thinking that what they offered in our own neighbourhood was better: great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping - and not to mention the Canal Saint Martin (if the weather behaves)!
Laurent was a great host - whatever problem there was, Laurent fixed it immediately and was very easy to communicate with. We will for sure go back to this place the next time we visit Paris! :)
Laurent was great host he was good at communicating up to and during our stay. The studio was beautiful, clean and modern, with gorgeous little balconies, a well equipped kitchenette and a bath. We have been traveling over the last year and this has been one of our best trips. The location is great, felt very safe, it was far enough from the CBD that prices are right and locals are very friendly and welcoming. But close enough to jump on the metro and get anywhere within Paris easily. It was just a short walk from Gare du Nord and there were plenty of great cafes, patisseries and restaurants around. We particular recommend La Fontaine just across the road- they're a great bunch with nice cold beer! Thank you Laurent we hope to stay again some day
Everything about this quaint apartment was perfect. Laurent was very nice and he left us a bottle of wine which we thought was very thoughtful. Although small it is the perfect size for a getaway and It is very close to the subway line 2 which kept us connected easily with the whole city. The area in which is located is also the best as it has everything you may need near. We appreciate the hospitality provided and the cosy feeling we always felt at home. It was an amazing stay. Thank you Laurent!
Laurent is a very nice Person and always reachable and willing to help. The studio was as descriped and we really enjoyed our stay in the wonderful city Paris. We loved the view from the balcony and we were the first to use the elevator, so it is no problem that the studio is on the 6th floor. Wifi would have been nice. All in all i can really recommend laurents cute appartment to anyone. Thank you for letting us stay Laurent!
The studio is very comfortable and convenient in terms of transportation, Laurent is very helpful and everything is perfect except for the elevator and wifi.
Laurent was extremely nice and accommodating. He was flexible with the check-in / checkout times and always replied promptly to any of my enquiries.
The 10th district is a GREAT area because you have a mixed atmosphere: it is both popular and trendy. It’s pretty, diverse, surrounded of bistrots, small boutiques, mini markets, bars and restaurants. It is extremely well connected; you can even walk to downtown if you enjoy walking.
There are two mini-markets a few steps from the building and lots of stores and bistrots around.
The building stairs are not very clean and well lit, but that’s out of Laurent’s control. When I was there I could notice that the elevator was being fixed, so maybe it will be functioning soon. I was there on a winter and was not cold at all at the apartment.
I loved the view one can enjoy from any of the three little balconies.
The only downside for me is that there is no WIFI, something somewhat important for travellers who do not have a data plan for France and need to be available online.
All in all, I had an excellent experience. The apartment is enjoyable, I definitely recommend you to stay in it.
Laurent has been an excellent host and his apartment is an ideal place for Londoners (or anyone else anyway!) who wants to discover Paris.
The location is perfect, walking distance from Garé du Nord and connected with several tube stations around.
Despite being a cosy place it had all the basics to become the "base-camp" of the "Paris explorer".
The flat was exactly as the pictures and Laurent was a helpful host. I strongly recommend his apartment.
Multissimas gracias :)
Laurent was a fantastic host (even though we didn't get to meet). He gave very clear instructions for getting to the apartment. The location was great, especially with the shop across the street. The bed was comfortable and I loved the coffee machine in the kitchen! The only things I can think of that might need improving is that the kitchen could do with a better knife (chopping onions was a bit difficult) and some better pillows. Overall, a wonderful apartment with a great view. I would stay again and recommend.
Ok I will try to find better pillows
and did you try the big knife???
isn t enough for onions???
maybe I just need to sharpen it
