Miyo is a really good Host, she really take good care of the people while staying.
If I can have a chance to go back to Beijing, I want to stay again.
Miyo is lovely and the room was clean and set up with everything I needed! Dongzhimen is very central and the spot proved great for my needs!
BEWARE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYING AT THIS ROOM. I am a woman travelling alone and originally booked this room for 3 nights after reading the reviews here. When I got there, the building was quite old. Also, the elevator closes at 12am so I don't feel safe if I come home late at night and have to walk 18th floors of stairs. Nevertheless, I stayed my first night. No one was home until 2am the first night. At 2am, I heard the door and someone came back. After a while, someone was suddenly throwing big glass jars on the floor LOUDLY. An hour later, someone else came back, then I heard the wardrobe outside my bedroom wall was pulled down vigorously and it fell onto the wall loudly. I was extremely shocked and frightened I did not dare to move. I had no idea what was happening so I just stayed up until 8am. I didn't know if someone went crazy at the house or what. I felt extremely unsafe. When it was 8am, I have packed all my stuff and I just had to get out of this place. I was shaking. When I opened the door, there was glasses everywhere and the wardrobe really did fell down and leaning on one side of the wall. I wanted to leave but the wardrobe was in my way so I had to move it out of my way. My feet was already covered in glasses but I just had to get out of this place. After I moved the wardrobe, I practically sprinted out of the house because I was afraid someone would chase after me. I repeatedly pushed the elevator button as I heard someone in the house moving the glasses. It was definitely the most frightening experience tonight and I really just want to warn everyone about this place. As a host, the couple was extremely irresponsible and definitely too emotionally to be welcoming guest. STAY AWAY!
great location close to Sanlitun and the airport express since I had a very early flight.
the room is small as expected but one warning, the building is very chinese so if you're not used to it, you might find the elevator and hall a little overwhelming. I would stay again, Miyo was a great host who was flexbile to my flight delay's which is always very nice.
Great location, although the building itself is a little shady, the location is near the subway station and air train which is very convenient. Neat small apartment, Miyo is a very friendly and helpful host. The elevator in the building closes at midnight and if you don't have how to communicate with the manager or Miyo you would have to walk up the 18 floors and is not nice (I had to do it). Overall pretty decent place to stay for a couple of days.
We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this adorable hutong. The neighborhood was absolutely delightful. We did not get a chance to meet Miyo. Instead, Pierre, her partner, was our gracious host. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating! The apartment was cozy, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is incredible... It is next to so many amazing restaurants and is a ten minute walk from the subway.
The room is spacious, clean and ideally located; however, the building is really rundown and dirty, so don't expect to spend some romantic time there. The flat doesn't have a shared living room, so the roommates very seldom meet or speak to each other.
One big plus was the French coffee press. Other than that, the breakfast was nothing to rave about.
I stayed four nights at Miyo's house. The location is really perfect, it is very close to the subway station Dongzihmen. There is a big mall closeby, as well as the Ghost Street. Miyo was very flexible in times of picking me up and helped me a lot during my stay! I can truely recommend this location!
The reservation was canceled 25 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Miyo was a warm and friendly host. She provide basic bfast foods, a towel and clean room for a great price in the best location. If you just need a clean bed and quiet apartment for the night, I'd highly recommend this apartment! Room has no lock, so just take valuables when you leave the room and be aware!
Nice outgoing guest.
