Sîan and Paul are great hosts, they make you feel very welcome in their lovely house in Canton and share a lots of information about where to go and places to eat. The room was nice and quiet and I enjoyed their breakfast with real homemade bread and toast. Good location in a beautiful area if your depending on public transport.
Wonderful place to stay in Cardiff. We only met Sian but she was very welcoming and she answered gladly to all our questions.
The house and the neighborhood were beautiful and near the city centre.
We were thoroughly pleased with our accommodations! Sian and Paul's home is perfectly located - it's just a short 20 minute walk into the city center. Sian and Paul are lovely hosts and we enjoyed our lovely breakfasts chatting away. We loved the 3rd level bedroom with the delightful breeze that come through the rooftop sky windows - and the entire home is very clean and welcoming. We also liked that there was free street parking and easy in and out access to the city. We would not hesitate to stay with them again if we ever are back in Cardiff.
The house is beautiful, clean, bright, quiet, easy access, convenient, and so forth, we could not have asked for more. We also saw parts of Cardiff through Sian's eyes, a native's perspective, which enriched our experience of this Welsh Capital immensely.
We have just had the most delightful 3 day break in Cardiff, staying 2 nights with Sian. Sian is the perfect hostess, welcoming us like old friends as soon as we arrived! The house is immaculate and cosy, the bedroom and ensuite exactly what we wanted. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast to our tastes. My awkward dietary needs were well catered for and Sian's enthusiasm for and knowledge of the local area enhanced our stay. We would recommend this accommodation to any one.
Really a nice home. Spacious bedroom, bathroom, dinning room.
The breakfast is awesome. And Sian is very friendly, and she has a good collection of local information sheet and map.
Sian was a delightful hostess. Interested in her guests and very helpful. A cheerful face to come home to. I loved my attic room. Slept like a log.
We recieved a very warm welcome from Sian with a lovely cuppa and a big book full of ideas what to do and see in and around Cardiff. It is the perfect place to explore Cardiff as all the mayor sights seem to be in walking distance. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast every morning and some very nice conversations. If we come to Cardiff again this is definitely the place we would like to stay.
This was the first time I have used Airbnb and I was really impressed with the whole process, I can't wait to use it again!
My mum and I stayed at Paul and Sian's for one night and took both rooms. We felt very welcomed and Sian gave us lots of info about Cardiff. The rooms were spotless, the beds very comfortable and our showers hot. We'd recommend their accommodation to anybody visiting Cardiff.
Sian and Paul have spent two and a half months in my apartment. They were extraordinary guests ! Friendly people and nice as we dreamed to meet ! They got to us very kind attentions. We talked a lot and it was a wonderful and rewarding experience.
During their stay, they gave us news by mail, it was very nice of them.
They are caring people, they took great care of the apartment, we can't expect better !
Everything was perfect ! We hope to see them again soon in France or Cardiff in their charming guest house.
Paul had for sure communication problem, also because he decided to use personal mail instead of airbnb messages. Everything was explained in the description, also the number of my friend that helps me in receiving the guests. I told him to look at the Host's Directions... He didn't ask me about anything in the apartment before his arrive and he expected that everything was indicated on request could be immediately available for him. As host i'm not his serve, and I have not only one apartment, so I have to organize everything. He told me was his first experience as guest, he is also host in Airbnb and I hope he is more comfortable as host than guest.
My first bad experience as host in Airbnb.
Paul and Sian were recommended to me by a neighbour of there's and I stayed with them for 2 weeks before they signed up with Airbnb. Their house is beautifully restored Victorian terraced house in a pretty crescent. It’s located in an interesting part of Cardiff and within easy walking distance of the city centre and lots of restaurants as well as the Chapter Arts centre. I stayed in their converted en suite attic room which is spacious and extremely comfortable. Paul and Sian also sometimes offer extras such as an evening meal which on every occasion was extremely tasty. I enjoyed their company very much but they are also just as happy for their guests to spend time on their own. There is wifi in the bedrooms. I also, one summer evening, went cycling with Paul along the Taff Trail to Cardiff Bay which was huge fun and a great way to see the city. Highly recommended.
Having lived in this house for over 10 years I have enjoyed the delights of its restored Victorian periodic features. It has been a wonderful house to grow up in and still a place I return to relax and enjoy the company of my family. I has been frequently said that I can eat my family 'out of house and home', one of the main reasons being that the food is so good. If you do not believe me then why not try it yourself.
The house is in a perfect location (15mins walk) to the city centre which is somewhere I like to call home. The up and coming city has lots to offer from sport attractions such as Cardiff Arms Park and the millennium stadium. There are also lots of shops, bars and restaurants to chose from too.
