My wife, myself and 2 boys aged 13 & 9 stayed 5 nights in Amine's apartment. It was our first time in Europe and our first time to use AirBNB. There was a lot of room in the apartment, everything we needed, hot water for showers for everyone after a whole day exploring Paris, high speed wifi, kitchen, nice beds, full toilet and baths, although during our stay, the washing machine was not working. Great location, plenty of bars to hang out at night, Balcony with a nice view. 5 minute walk to the metro, the entire city was within 30-40 minutes by metro. Check- in, smooth and easy, hassle free check out, overall, great experIence! I would stay there again, would recommend to everyone!
We had a great stay at Amine's home. Everything was clean and tidy, well guided with a detailed booklet about the appartment an the neighborhood. Well done.
Perfect place to live like a local. The Oberkampf neighborhood has tons of food options, great cafes, and has a vibrant nightlife.
Amine was a great host and provided a very detailed guidebook which made the stay very easy. My security deposit was refunded in a timely fashion.
The apartment was very clean, well appointed, and had everything you could ask for including WiFi, cable tv, entertainment system, and a printer. The outdoor terrace runs the entire length of the apartment and provides a great place to soak up the sun and provides a great view of the church in the evening.
We stayed three nights in Amine's flat for a long weekend and we loved the place. Location was probably the best possible for us - Oberkampf is a funky area. And Amine was a very good host. Everything worked smoothly, and Amine had put together a very useful guide booklet with everything you need to know.
This apartment is in a fun neighbourhood, with a lot of bars and restaurants nearby.
The apartment is a great size, and has a beautiful view, especially night. There is everything you will need in the apartment and close-by.
The only issue I had was that it could have been a little cleaner when we arrived.
Apart from that I would recommend staying here.
We were in Paris for 2 months for work and this apartment was a great fit for what we were looking for. It is in an upbeat location with a lot of restaurants and bars. The apartment has a great view in the day and the night. We especially loved the bakery on the corner of Rue Oberkampf. You can easily walk to many Paris attractions from the apartment and there are 3 different Metro lines very close by. Amine is a great host!
The apartment had everything we needed for a great stay. It was close to a couple of metro stations, it was on a quiet street, but the next street down had bars, supermarkets and great places always with something going on. The only down side was that the elevator wasn't working and being on the ninth floor, took the easiness out of getting in and out. All of this pales in comparison thought to the amazing view from the spacious lounge. Perfect for one or two couples as the apartment felt so spacious. The host was also very organised and gave us all the info we needed to get started without a hitch. Would definitely stay again, even if I have to take the stairs!
Amine's place is great! It's nice and big and had everything we needed. We stayed as a couple, but the place would easily be comfortable with two couples, with one in the bedroom, one in the living room on the fold-out couch. The kitchen was well equipped, bed was comfortable, shower was hot, washing machine perfect, wifi was great. There were even a few bonuses like a cool stereo system and cable tv, as well as a printer which really helped with printing tickets for trains etc.
The apartment was easy to find, with a boulangerie at the end of the street (that one's the best in the neighbourhood, we thought.) and numerous supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. Make sure you check out the cool vintage seconnd hand shop on Oberkampf st!
We were able to access all the sights of Paris, either by walking or using the metro. Walk to Cimetiere Pere Lachaise - 15 minutes, or walk all the way to Hotel de Ville and the centre of Paris in about 30-40 minutes! Otherwise the metro is close by.
Unfortunately I was not there when Amine went to my appartement but still I can say that he was very caring. He gave me some news, and also he didn't forget to thank me . He cleaned up the apartment and everything he used and he even did the laundry.
For me he was a very nice guest.
