Hey, I am an artist that is from New York originally and am still in love with it. I'm glad to be able to facilitate a good stay for others to experience this magical city.
My boyfriend and I spent 5 amazing nights in this beautiful loft over New Years. The apartment looks exactly as in the pictures. Very spacious, bright and quiet by New York standards. The loft is in an excellent location - close to transit as well as Soho & Chinatown shopping, dining & bars. Daniel responds promptly and had great suggestions for local restos. He was accessible the entire time, friendly and warm. The kitchen was stocked with all of the standard things a visitor might need (pots, pans, silverware, etc.). Very clean apartment, the bed was very comfortable and there was even an iPod dock with an iPod full of great tunes left for us. Loved the antique furniture and especially the cast iron claw foot tub! Thanks to Daniel for providing us with a wonderful place to stay while we were in New York. Wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend this place to anyone, and I will definitely look up his place the next time I need to go to Manhattan.
I'm hesitant to write a review here because it'll mean that it will be that much harder to secure this amazing loft the next time i need a place to stay in NYC. But i can't be selfish... the loft is clean, has great great light, and spacious... Beautifully decorated from top to bottom.... all you will need in a great location. Your host is fantastic! Danielle made sure i was set up after i arrived. He responded to my emails quickly and answered all my questions. It was the perfect gem of an apartment that had the bonus of a washer & dryer. so what i'm saying is don't stay here... just kidding: if you need a place to stay in NYC and this apartment is available, grab it before someone else does!! ~S
