My hosts made me welcome and comfortable.
The room and bathroom were spacious and clean.
The bed was comfortable.
Irene and Myles were lovely people and made me feel welcome.Their guidance helped me make some key decisions about my stay in Dublin. The house was well kept and I loved the room I stayed.I would not hesitate to recommend stay at Irene's Place to all my friends. The place is close to airport and Myles picked and dropped me which was really helpful for someone new to Ireland
I can't say enough about my hosts Irene and Myles in Dublin. They gave me great directions from the airport to their house. I arrived early and went to their house immediately and got some great ideas to spend my time in Dublin. This is the true worth of airbnb where you have travel/exploration minded people who like to help out fellow travelers make the most of the their visit to their hometowns. The pride in Dublin and Ireland is apparent in this household and the encouragement to plan some good itineraries is very valuable. Irene had some great literature and Myles was patient with helping me map the way to go. The most unique thing that happened to me on this trip is that they knew a couple I met in Westport six years ago, and helped me reconnect with them. All parties were surprised at the odds of this happening and they took me to the local pub the first night to meet the couple from Bluebell. This is my second visit to Ireland and it started off so well and the weather was just great every day of my vacation. Irene and Myles recommended New Grange and I was glad I drove up 45 minutes up the M1 to take a tour. I got a chance to visit Kilmainham Gaol and drove to Belfast for the Titanic Museum and black taxi tour of the city. All were well worth the time to get there. Of course I think anywhere you go in Ireland is a new adventure. One of the great highlights of this trip was going to the Cottage Inn Pub in the Dublin suburb of Bluebell to hear six musicians sitting around some tables and playing some great traditional Irish ballads. It was so great an experience I made it back from Dingle at the end of the day to get to the session the next Tuesday night starting at 9:30pm. All in all you can't miss staying in Castleknock with Irene and Myles as they are close to the airport, they have a great comfortable place in their house to stay, which is located on the end of a street and very quiet for sleeping, they are great accommodating host, and they will help you enjoy Dublin and Ireland. They are very enthusiastic to learn about their guests. When I go back which I surely will I will be booking with them again for sure.
Although I only had a very brief stay with Irene her and her husband were wonderful hosts and the room was actually even nicer than it appears in the images!
Irene and Myles were so lovely and welcoming when I stayed over for the long weekend. They were very helpful, resourceful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Upon arrival, I found a welcome pack in my room with all of the Dublin info one could wish. They are fellow travelers and happy to chat to you about their adventures over a cuppa. Definitely stay with them if they aren't already booked up!
My sister and I stayed with Irene and Myles. They were so wonderful! Myles picked us up from the airport and even drove us back through the park by his house. He sat down with us and showed us on the map all the places we could visit. Irene was very welcoming and even drove us to the train station with our big bag. They were so helpful and willing to answer the hundreds of questions we had. The bed and pillows were comfortable and cozy. The shower and room were clean and plenty big enough for the both of us. The train station is only a 5 minute walk from their house. It is about an 18 minute train trip into Dublin. Super close and easy to figure out. We felt completely safe in their house and walking around the quiet neighborhood. For our first time using Airbnb they set a pretty high standard.
I found Miles and Irene to be warm and gracious hosts. The room was great and the house was extremely neat and well organized. They are very interesting and well travelled people and we had some great discussions about music and our travels. The location is good, about 5 mins walk to a bus stop to catch the 37 or 38 bus into the City Centre. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and walking distance to Phoenix Park. Overall a great experience, I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Irene and Miles were the best hosts. Everything was better than expected, the house is great and so is the room. They make you feel at home and pay attention even to the smallests details like the quality of the towels. They gave us a lot of information about the city and were always willing to help. Highly recommended!
I was delighted with my stay which was the perfect location for my requirements. Miles and Irene were great hosts who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I would definitely come back. Thank you!
Irene and Myles are fabulous hosts, and their home was perfect for my stay. Guests have their own, spacious room, bathroom, and access to Dublin is just minutes from the door. As a first-timer to Ireland, Myles and Irene were kind enough to give me maps and "must see" spots, and their recommendations were spot on. I would recommend staying with this lovely couple to anyone; a welcoming home in Dublin is right!
Irene and her husband were perfect guests. They were our first airbnb guests and we really enjoyed having them to stay. Friendly, considerate and neat and tidy I'm sure they make equally great hosts. We hope they will stay again when visiting London.
Irene and her family were all lovely guests who we would welcome into our home anytime.
It was such a pleasure to host Irene and Myles and they are the sweetest nicest folk. They were clean and organised and very very warm and caring. Though they had a very short stay with me I could tell that they are amazing people. Since I have visited Dublin before I had some interesting conversations with them about their city and hope to see them again someday.
Irene and Miles were extremely pleasant guests. They were easy to communicate with and left the apartment quite clean. I would definately host them anytime.
Great guest, very respectful, communicative and would definitely recommend to any host :)
