I'm a San Francisco resident of nearly 40 years (a native of western Pennsylvania) and world traveler having visited approximately 30 countries. I'm a creative professional working in graphic design and web development. I'm interested in people of the world and enjoy learning about the cultures, customs, arts, sensibilities—and especially the cuisines of foreign lands.
I've walked the Himalayas in Nepal, the glaciers in Norway, the Greek isles, the beaches of southern Portugal, the streets of Copenhagen, Paris, Rome, London, Prague, Budapest, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and countless other cities. I've slept under the stars, on beaches and in caves, in many a tent, in 5-star hotel rooms, in youth hostels, pensiones, b&bs, and private homes in my journeys, and visited countless museums, shops, pubs, restaurants, old cathedrals and Buddhist temples along the way, loving it all. However some of the best memories are of the people I've met. I've been the recipient of incredible kindness and selfless hospitality, and I know what a difference a gracious host can bring toward making one's journey memorable.
I'm looking to meet more people and continue my exploration through AirBnB and look forward to what it has to offer.
