I've lived in Dayton for most of my life, so I know the city well and enjoy showing people around. This city has a lot to offer, and the quality of life is what keeps me around. I currently work as a web developer for a local park and recreation agency, so I get to help promote outdoor experiences within the Dayton region, which I enjoy. In my free time, I like to ride my bike on the Miami Valley Bikeways, a connected network of 330 miles of paved, connected trails, the largest in the country! I also enjoy gardening, listening to music, cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family. Other activities include snowboarding, soccer, camping and disc golf.
I've been lucky enough to do a lot of traveling during my 33 years of existence, so I appreciate those with a sense of adventure and a zest for life. Some of my favorite destinations are the California coastline, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the South Carolina coastline, upper Michigan, Moab, UT, Maine's Acadia National Park and Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Internationally, I've enjoyed spending time in Germany, Holland, Jamaica, and the Virgin Islands (and Canada, too).
When I host, I'm happy to make you feel at home. If you are looking for someone to show you around, I can assist if I have time, so just ask! I am quite knowledgeable about the parks and outdoor opportunities within the region, as well as fun places to visit, great restaurants, good places to shop and the best ways to get around town. I am vegetarian, but those who stay here are welcome to cook as they please.
I look forward to having you as a guest.
