I am a single Dad and work often in Pittsburgh PA. I travel there for work quite a bit. That's why my home is available for usually 1 week a month.

We did not meet Mark in person but he was available by email, and that worked very well for us. The home was just as it is pictured, we had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. We were staying with 2 young children. Our 3 yo loved the "tent bed" in the children's room, and it was so nice to have some toys to play with. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We would certainly recommend this location! Thanks!
The place was perfect! After some initial confusion regarding the check-in process, Mark stopped by and got us all checked in and situated. I would definitely recommend staying with Mark, as he went out of his way to ensure that we had a great stay! Great location as well.
A lovely apartment in just the right spot (for us at least). The listing was accurate and the apartment clean. Mark also gave us a very useful document detailing the features of his apartment and local amenities. We would definitely consider staying at Mark's apartment again.
Great spot, in the Monkland village and near the Metro.
Full details were provided before we arrived and as our flight from the U K was due to arrive quite late in the evening, arrangements were made so that we could gain entry. As this is Mark's home, all the essentials were present, including a few toys which our grandchildren enjoyed when they visited. The location is ideal with Monkland village a few minute walk away, where most essentials may be bought and where there are restaurants catering for most tastes. An excellent place to stay.
Mark is a very generous host, although we didn't meet him, his information sheet was perfect. The listing was exactly as advertised. The neighbourhood felt safe and family oriented. Proximity to shops is ideal.
Mark responded to all my emails in less than 24 hours and was very helpful. The location of his apartment was ideal for us because it is a 2 minute walk from our son's apartment on Harvard and five minutes walk from Monkland, where you can shop for almost anything. It was hot and humid for part of our stay and the air-conditioning was a real boon. We hope too be back.
Mark was a Great Host... He was very helpful and was willing to accept the fact that I am arriving at Midnight. The Location was also amazing, one block from busy street with many nice cafes and restaurants. Also the Metro is only a 10-15 min walk from the House. I was able to park my park on the sidewalk since there are many space opens on the street. But there is also parking in the garage for me.
I choose to park my car outside the house and took the metro to explore during the day and I drove out at night for night life since the metro close at midnight.
overall I like the house... it was nice and clean and very big.
Everything was better than described....I received ample documentation of procedures for the house, complete with directions to local attractions and shops. The pictures were accurate and the apartment was perfect for what we needed!
Très joli logement, confortable et spacieux, dans une rue arborée et tranquille de Montréal, à deux pas d'une rue commerçante bien sympathique (miam miam, les bagels recommandés par Mark !).
Mark is a wonderful guest, quiet, clean and very respectful and considerate. We did not have much time to converse as he was out most of the time but I did enjoy the few conversations we had. He is welcome to stay here anytime. I highly recommend him.
Mark is an experienced Airbnb host and traveler, as well as a delightful guest. He is pleasant, quiet and respectful. We enjoyed his stay and welcome him back any time!
Mark was a terrific guest who would be welcome to return anytime. He was busy at a conference all weekend, so we saw little of him, most unfortunately! Tidy, quiet and respectful, he'd be a "leave no trace" kind of guy on a camping trip, I'm sure. An interesting, intelligent young man.
Mark's place is fantastic. It is spacious, comfortable and has a wonderful back yard with a porch and small garden. I stayed there in the summer and sitting/playing in the back yard and porch was a welcome relief from the bustle of Montreal. Plus, there's a bbq!
The location is amazing. Not only is it easy to park and close to amenities it is a short walk to public transportation. We loved waking up in the morning and walking a few short blocks to have a croissant or bagel and coffee. The neighborhood has a very homey feel and we felt right at home.
This is a fantastic find!
