Love to travel, cook, eat, drink and have fun. I can always give advice on some of my favorite places in the city.

Jen was a wonderful host. She made me feel welcome in her beautiful home. The apartment is very central with access to many convenient subway lines, restaurants and shopping on Smith and Court Street.
Rented apartment for a week with my husband, four month old and mother.
Very comfortable space, clean, tall ceilings, 1860's charm.
Large kitchen: Nespresso, french press, all the appliances for cooking and storing food, excellent space for my family to gather with plenty of seating, large windows that overlook natural area in back.
Large living room: Apple TV, big flat screen with Hulu and Netflix, comfortable sectional sofa (my mom opted to sleep on the sofa rather then air mattress), dining room table, large windows facing street.
Large bathroom: claw foot tub, plenty of hot water, beautiful tile, shampoo and soap available.
Bedroom: Soft sheets, comfortable queen size bed, closing door, tall window facing street.
Hosts: kind and responsive
Neighborhood: restaurant on corner with great pie, two blocks from Smith St with TONS of food and shopping, two blocks from Atlantic St. more food and shopping, abundance of laundromats in the area, two blocks from subway stops to Manhattan, lots of families, quiet street.
Old building with quirks, narrow uneven staircase to unit
Bedroom: very small just big enough for the bed, the head of the bed is against a wall with a permanently closed door to the hallway outside the unit which allows some noise from the hall. There is not headboard on the bed so sitting up in bed is not really an option. This would not have been a problem at all but I'm currently nursing a baby and needed a place to sit up in the middle of the night.
I will definitely check with Jen next time I'm visiting NYC to see if her home is available for rent. :)
My guest was Geoff (not Jen), and I was very pleased to host him. He is living his life with creativity and curiosity, and that's the kind of folks I enjoy meeting. Geoff was here for NOFA-NY (organic farming conference) and that, too, is of great interest.
Young, energetic and fun guests to host.
Very respectful, neat and cleaned the studio before leaving.
Jen and Jeff are a lovely couple, and I am so happy they came to my home. They left the room clean and organized, and they were warm and respectful to my family. Thank you Jen and Jeff for your hospitality and your sweet note, I love it~~~
Unfortunately I did not get to meet Jen, I was away when they came to stay, but my friends say they were great fun, and took care of the cottage very well.
Jen and Jeff were delightful guests! Although they were here just one night for a nearby engagement, I so enjoyed conversing with them the next morning over coffee before they had to leave. Interesting, savvy and well traveled young couple. They were also very respectful of my home and kept their room clean and neat. I appreciated their care.
I would welcome Jen and Jeff back anytime as well as highly recommend them to other hosts. Great people to host!
