We had a fantastic stay with Patrick and his family. The room was adequate and the breakfast was amazing.
Heavenly Homestay was most definitely a good choice for us. Patrick, Mary and the family were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were fantastic and gave us a real taste of Keralan home cooking!
The room was really comfortable and the lovely roof terrace an added bonus.
The location was great for good local restaurants and the sights of Fort Kochi. Patrick kindly organised us a tuktuk to show us even more and could not have been more helpful.
Would definitely recommend!
A L arrivee, il nous a offert un jus de fruit, ce qui nous a beaucoup plu.
What a wonderful place to stay! We wished we could have stayed longer and certainly hope to return. We were made very welcome by the whole charming family.
The hospitality of Patrick, Mary and their daughters met and in many ways exceeded our expectations based on the listing. Their roof garden was perfect for watching the sunset, sunrise, birds and stars.
The locality was quiet, felt very safe, and has a superb restaurant within walking distance. Patrick went out of his way to assist us on our excursions, phoning to make appointments for massage and arranging a tuk-tuk.
Breakfast was freshly cooked Indian fare as well as fruit and ommelette. Patrick's fruit smoothies were a special treat.
The room was neatly decorated and the shower room new. Other people staying were also liked minded travellers, enjoying the real India. Thank you to you all, Tim and Liz.
Thank u Liz and Tim for writing your valuable and precious words about us .
See u next time
I absolutely adore this place. The host cooked me breakfast immediately upon arrival even though it was a bit later in the morning and I was the only one to cook for. He also had bottled water, a necessity for Kochi weather, that he handed me as soon as I arrived and as soon as I would leave the door to go on an outing. The family is kind, warm, and this feels like the best of a homestay (personal, home, warm) and the best of a bed and breakfast (professional, prepared, functional). My room has a mini-iron, a hot water kettle, coffee/tea, and other supplies assisting my stay. I was really impressed overall.
Great host family. I got the "valentine" suite which was awesome. Every day was tasty breakfast feast and Patrick arranged great day trip to Kerala backwaters !! Much recommended
A warm hello from Patrick and a comfortable spotless room. He was a great guide with helpful replies to where and what to do. Breakfast was 3* hotel standard and a happy surprise. I had a 6pm taxi collect and Patrick very kindly use a room to rest.
I highly recommend Heavenly and would stay again
A lovely place to stay in Fort Kochi. And Mr and Mrs Patrick were so helpful and cooked up a great breakfast. Lovely quiet room with easy access to all the sights in Kochi.
Patrick and Mary gave us a warm family environment and service and welcomed us into their family. The room was clean and comfortable and wi fi service was available through out our stay. Highly recommend Heavenly Homestay to travellers. Close proximity to Fort Cochin and Patrick assisted with arranging transport and tours. Patrick also assisted with our trip to Munnar, Kumily and Trivamdrum. Fantastic traditional breakfast every morning, fresh juice. All around a pleasant experience.

Heavenly homestay is in a safe and quiet residential area in Fort Cochin, within walking distance to many sightseeing places and cosy restaurants. The rooms are newly built with all modern amenities (A/C, free wifi, bottled water, tea/coffee, private balcony, mosquito-screen windows and doors) and immaculately clean.
Having also stayed in bigger hotels in South India, this homestay has been much more rewarding. Patrick and his family treated my like a family member. They invited me to a wonderful dinner at their daughter Jeffy’s 12th birthday. On another evening, Jeffy played for me on a nice classical Indian instrument called Veena. Their daughter Jeny showed me her professionally artistic drawings. Patrick drove me in his car to an Ayurvedic clinic, and to a great restaurant called Pepper House. Any sightseeing trips, Ayurvedic treatments or Kathakali show tickets can be booked through him. His wife Mary prepares a delicious Kerala style breakfast with fresh fruit juices like Pineapple/Ginger or Watermelon. They all highly value hospitality and have a lot of experience with tourists.
I am looking forward to another “heavenly homestay” on my next Kerala travel and highly recommend staying with this friendly and caring family.
