Jaca is an absolute gold standard Airbnb host. She was very accommodating after I got a flat tire about an hour out of Austin and showed up a little later than planned, and was so sweet to have a six pack of Shiner waiting for us in the fridge. Her apartment was spotless and had all amenities I could ever imagine including a first aid kit, towels and toiletries. The weather was overcast and drizzly when I got there and Jaca left the sliding glass door to the balcony open after she checked us in which was a welcoming touch. Jaca is highly recommended and I would certainly stay at her place again!
A great apartment in a great location, plus a friendly and accommodating host. What more can you ask?
My stay on the Jaca's apartament was great. The place is very nice and clean, everything works fine and when I arrived she welcome me with a lot of good "things" inside the refrigerator.
I had a problem with the internet but was solved in a day after I arrived and works very well since.
I recommend without excuses.
It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Jaca's apartment and she is truly the ultimate hostess. I stayed at her place for 5 nights and she was kind enough to meet me at the bus station and drive me to her apartment even though she had work commitments. She spent a good amount of time showing me around her apartment and providing recommendations of things to see and do and also good restaurants and bars in the area. She had even gone to the effort of providing me with a city street map, a tourism magazine and a detailed list of information on the apartment and things to do and see. Jaca provided linen and towels, soap, a loofah and said I could help myself to coffee and other items although I didn't as I ate out while staying in Indianapolis. The apartment itself was beautiful, smelled nice and was immaculately cleaned. It is very handy to the central city and has a number of top quality restaurants and bars nearby. Unfortunately Jaca is moving soon but if she looks to rent out her place at her new destination then I would recommend staying as she is very professional and a lovely person.
She even assisted me in my hour of need by arranging for a bag I had lost at the Indy 500, and which handed been handed in, to be collected from the speedway and shipped to me in Denver. I can't say enough good things about this lady.
My husband and I were visiting Indianapolis to run the Indy Mini Marathon and be part of my best friend's wedding. Jaca (pronounced Yahtza) was very accommodating. Our flight didn't land until 11:20pm and we didn't get to the apartment until midnight. She gave us a brief tour of the apartment and reassured us to make ourselves at home during our 4-night stay. We felt very comfortable there. It was also in a fabulous location. We were able to walk to breakfast in the morning and to the Convention Center (albeit a somewhat long walk) to pick up our race packets. The water pressure was AMAZING! Only downside, if you're not used to traffic sounds around the clock, then I would suggest bringing earplugs or downloading some Brainwaves music for your iPhone/iPod/etc. It helped drown out the noise. Otherwise, it was all fantastic!
I came to Indy for a conference and wanted to be able to experience a little more than what the conference hotels had to offer. So, I chose Jaca's place.
Jaca was a wonderful host. She was very laid back, easy to work with, and helpful with directions and local area info. Her apartment is fantastic - very roomy and comfortable - and in a great little neighborhood close to the heart of downtown. Lots of neat shops and yummy food within walking distance. The only thing that would have made it better was to have a my husband or a friend with me to share the experience.
Although I was busy with the conference and couldn't spend much time exploring, what I did see of Indy was great. And if I'm able to return to check out more of the sights, I would certainly choose Jaca again as my host, even for a different place.
Jaca was an extraordinarily accommodating host. She's really easy to get along with; I felt like we were friends from our first meeting. As an example of her excellence as a host, she had no problem staying up until I arrived at her place at 1:30am! She even offered to pick me up from the airport. Her space is just as the pictures suggest: neat & trendy. The location is pretty good, too, with 5-6 bars and a few restaurants within 5 minutes walk. If you need to get to downtown (e.g. Georgia Street), the cab ride is only about $6-7.
It's an excellent apartment – luxuriously appointed – and on the edge of a really interesting area to walk around and explore. Jaca is above and beyond helpful, well organised and a font of information. Great place to stay.
Jaka's apartment was in a great location in a quiet area, but still a walkable distance from a lot of interesting things to do in the area. Her apartment is neat, clean and ended up being an awesome choice. I would definitely stay there again!
Jaca's place was lovely, clean and convenient. She's easy to communicate with and was always available when I needed her.
Jadranka was a great guest. I really enjoyed our conversation over dinner. She's really sweet and friendly, and I highly recommend.
Jaca was such a gracious host. While traveling with my boyfriend and friends (another couple) to Indianapolis for a wedding, I had been a bit leery about the Midwest as I'd never been to that part of the country before. Jaca immediately seemed like my kind of girl. She offered to pick us all up from the airport but we ended up renting a car at the last minute. Her apartment was perfect for four people...she has a bedroom as well as an Full (possibly Queen) air mattress as well. I could have stayed in the shower FOREVER as the water pressure is heaven on earth. Her apartment is near a few neat bars and Jaca will leave you a list of places and things to see and do. There are some curious finds that are in walking distance.... a cool toy store, a former Cola Cola manufacturing building with what seems like its original facade. She even let us help ourselves to her food and beer. There was heat for when it got a little cold. She's also got a keen collection of books, many of which I own as well!. So it was sorta of like staying in my own living room. You may not need even want to leave the apartment. Indianapolis....who knew!
I love Jaca's place : beautiful, well-kept rooms, just gorgeous!!!! Jaca is a great, accomodating, and generous host! Her B&B is unparalled in quality, attention to detail, value, cleanliness and service. I especially enjoyed the lunch she prepared and the ice cream she served upon my arrival. Jaca thinks of everything to enhance your stay.
I will definitely come back to spend more time in Jaca's place. Please, take the opportunity to stay if you are in Indy and treat yourself!! Thank you Jaca :)
I've known Jaca for 2 years. She is easygoing, sharp, open, and caring. Whether it's quiet conversation or an exciting adventure, I can always expect Jaca to be an awesome companion. She is also a great hostess and an ideal guest. I would strongly recommend her to anyone in the Airbnb community!
Jaca is an amazing friend. She's one of those people you just can't help but love being around. We have known each other for about 6 years now. She's quite the traveler and I'm always jealous when she jaunts off. We share a sense of adventure and I love getting together with her just to hang out and talk or going somewhere. She's very respectful of others (and their cultures) and I've never known her to have anything other than a pleasant demeanor.
