Very out going, love to scuba dive, snorkeling, work out, walk my dog, read a good book and love meeting people.
Jorgina,s home, Paradise Cliffs, is truly a gift. I knew the moment I booked that this was going to be special. Jorgina is a loving, kind soul with such Aloha spirit she made me and my family feel welcomed and at home. I came down to be with my daughter who was expecting. jorgina had a beautiful card congratulating me on becoming a grandparent along with flowers and fresh fruit. Her place is beautiful. A wonderful place to wake up and watch the sunrise from the ocean and just be at peace before starting your day. The jungle road butts the ocean waves splashing against the cliffs. My husband described it as a rave run you would see pictured in runners magazine. The house is clean and fully equipped, including snorkeling gear. The bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect with easy access to all that the Big Island Island has to offer. You feel like you are home. Wonderful place, wonderful happy hostess who genuinely cares for you and ready to help. We would go back in a heartbeat.
My mother and I spent a week at Paradise Cliff. Jorgina was a wonderful host -gave us our privacy but there if we needed her. It is a nice one bedroom unit with a full kitchen, lanai, and ocean view. I slept on the futon in the living room which was very comfortable and easily converted to a couch in the morning. There are many things to see and do in the area - Volcano National Park, Hawaii Tropica Botanical Garden, Akaka Falls, to name a few. I highly recommend this place to stay!
Our stay at Jorgina's place in Paradise Cliffs was great from the beginoing to end. Our GPS guided us to her place through a jungle road that was impassable in our 4 wheel vehicle, and even though it was very late that evening we called her (when we could finally get out of the road, if you can call it that, and had cell reception) and she guided us safely to her place; once there we had all the comforts of life, a fantastic view, up to date information on the area and snorkel equipment to enjoy marine life. We will definitately go back to her place in the future. Thank you Jorgina!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Front Paradise Cliffs. Jorgina was very helpful with the booking process, & provided lots of useful information.
We loved the views from the shaded lanai, even though it was a little cool in the February winds to enjoy the hammocks. This was our first trip to Hawaii and we thought that the surrounding area was delightful-so green! Pahoa's facilities were much better than we expected & the Sunday farmers market was much better than the one in Hilo. Jorgina made sure that we knew all about the local attractions & delighted in our enjoyment-what a cheerful hostess! If you visit the Volcano National Park, we recommend the Kilauea Iki Trail and a visit to the Jaggar museum at dusk to see the red glow from the crater. Try and catch a ranger talk as well. The tidal pools at Kapoho were a surprise. Our first impressions were one of disappointment, but once you get in the water-WOW. Be warned however there is no shade & only lava to sit on!! Try & visit just before high tide. Jorgina's property certainly felt like a home from home & was even better than our expectations. It was very well equipped, particularly in the kitchen/barbecue area. The bed was extremely comfortable & we quite enjoyed the nightly frog chorus. To wake up every morning to this view is truly amazing. We would not hesitate to reccommend this property. (We had no mobile signal until we drove a few hundred metres up the road-T Mobile)
I had the best time of my life at Jorgina's place. I could not ask for a better more knowledgeable, friendly hostess, one does not exist ! Wonderful, immaculate ,private , absolutely gorgeous views. I would stay here forever if I could!
I had a great time at Paradise Cliffs and felt safe. Jorgina was very nice and gave my friends and I lots of privacy. The view was excellent, and it was within driving distance of lots of things to do like the Kehena black sand beach, Wednesday night market in Kalapana, and good food in downtown Pahoa and Hilo farmers market. The bed was very comfortable, during whale season it would be unbeatable. Good place to unwind.
I stayed at Paradise Cliffs, Jorgina's Ohana rental and enjoyed everything about my stay!
Jorgina is a wonderful host. She provides information that is local in nature-or more run of the mill tourtist style if you like. She knows her island!
Her place is comfy and has nice ammenities. She makes it all very plesant, warm, and like a home rather than a hotel room.
The location is private and quiet- closer to Hilo and Volcano- real close to groovy Pahoa, a neat little town.
I honestly can't wait to go back.....this time it will be during whale migration in the hope to watch them pass right by Paradise Cliffs!
