We were looking for place which will be calm and peacefull to start the new year. And Diana´s apartment was the perfect choice. It was clean and in an extremely convenient location. We did not met Diana, but we met Marko, he was very friendly and helpfull. Unfortunately there was no Wifi, because it was off-season. Heating is possible only with air conditioning. We will certainly go there again, but in summer :)
Our stay was wonderful at the Little Pearl. It could not have been more centrally located! Everything was very clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.
I met Diana upon my arrival at Rovinj and she has kindly accompanied me to the apartment, which is located right in the hearth of the old town. The duplex is stylish, quiet, very bright and with stunning views: at one side St.Eufemija cathedral while at the other the sea. During my two weeks long stay Diana was always helpful and promptly responding to my enquiries. Restaurants, wine bars and a small supermarket are all at few minutes walking distance. I would highly recommend to experience a stay at Diana's place in order to comfortably enjoy the beautiful Rovinj.
Lovely little apartment in the middle of the old city. Very clean - every necessity in place - exactly as promised and what we wanted.
This is a fabulous apartment located in the old town. It is beautifully furnished and well equipped. Diana was very responsive to any questions.
Diana was fantastic, I arrived very late in the night and found the keys and a snack waiting for me.
Rovinj itself is dreamy off season, the appartment is perfectly situated, easy to find, everyone knew the street even at 2 o'clock in the morning.
I could go on and on, but overall my best airbnb experience so far. Never have I had hosts that were more agreeable to interact with. I now consider I have a little studio on the coast for when life in northern europe gets to cloudy.
Thank you Maria,
it was a real pleasure meeting you!
Diana's place was fantastic! It is located in a lovely part of Rovinj, up a hill near the church. The streets are stone cobbled and winding, and very charming. We had a little difficulty finding the street, but everybody in Rovinj was very friendly and we quickly found our way. My friends and I loved it so much, we decided to extend our stay a bit. The rooms were spacious, and Diana made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend staying here!
This is a beautiful and modern rehabbed apartment in the old town of Rovinj, so the best of both worlds. We had some logistical difficulties picking up the keys and with wifi but overall a very positive experience. Rovinj is a very worthwhile stop on any trip to Croatia.
Let me start by saying that the apartment was as lovely as advertised: fantastic location, super-clean, very quiet and secluded. Unfortunately, our experience was marred on arrival to Rovinj. Communication with Diana was challenging, and we spent the first hour of our visit traversing the streets with our rollerbags, trying to figure out where to pick up the keys. Also, my first shower the following morning was cold...no one told us that a switch outside the bathroom door had to be ON to heat the water in the bathroom! (We only found this out when the maid happened to stop by.)
Room is just a listed. It is a perfect location, right in the heart of Rovinj. Host accommodated my late ferry arrival, and assisted me finding the room by phone. Rovinj can be a maze for new arrivals.
I've known Diana for several years now. As her colleague, a professor of English and Italian, I've only heard praises for her. So, not only you'll get a nice accommodation, but also an expert knowledge of the languages, art and history. If you book Diana's place, you'll sure have a memorable Dubrovnik summer experience!
