Kimberly and Frank (and Corbin) left friendly notes throughout their home welcoming and guiding us through their space. Their home matches the images and the location can not be beat! Walking distance to all that Sausalito has to offer. My family used the Falkenburg residence for the Christmas holidays, and the cozy living room provided a perfectly intimate space for completing a puzzle and chatting on the couch. Kimberly, Frank and Corbin provided ample linens and blankets, so the week was very comfortable. The only tricky bit about the rental is the parking. Sausalito keeps a tight watch on street parking, so be sure to ask Frank for an additional parking pass if there will be more than one car included in your visit.
The house exceeded our expectations. Frank is a wonderful host and the location can't be beat, a short walk from shops, restaurants and the Ferry to San Francisco. There was plenty of room for our family. We would highly recommend this house.
They are great host and their house was perfect.
A cozy informal vacation rental 2 blocks off of the San Francisco Bay, with great access to Sausalito shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The ferry to Fishermans Wharf is a few blocks away and we took it to the city twice during our 5 day stay.
The ad on AirBnB doesn't fully describe the features and amenities of the house. We were surprised at some of what the house offered. Both kids enjoyed the bunk beds that they found in 2 separate bedrooms. My wife and I found the master bedroom to be quite cozy. A parking pass was provided to help with potential Sausalito parking problems.
We heartily recommend "Bar Bocce" - a bayfront restaurant with outside dining and a firepit just a few blocks away. Great salads, Italian style fare and excellent wine. Plenty of seafood restaurants nearby too.
We'll go back again if we get the chance.
We stayed at Frank and Kimberly's house for 3 weeks in July, and had a wonderful time. The house is perfectly situated in Sausalito if you have a young family - close to the ferry, park, library, beach, and not too far up the hill! The whole house has a beautifully calm quality, and is very well equipped for families - great cooking and laundry facilities, and lots of things for kids to do. They even provided us with some passes to the amazing Discovery Museum in Sausalito, where we spent many happy hours.
Frank was in town for some of the time we were there, and was a kind and generous host. We look forward to staying at the house again in the future!
It is rare that a place exceeds your expectations but that's exactly what happened with our stay. From the moment we first spoke to Frank we knew this was the place for us.
The home is gorgeous. The location simply CANNOT be beat and the hosts are one in a million.
Frank is the ultimate host, so kind and generous with advice, time and made our transition to SF a positive one. The home is like getting a big hug from a loved one you haven't seen in years. The bed is beyond comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could ever need.
No one wanted to leave this magnificent, yet comfortable home! We will definitely be back to stay again and again!
This lovely home fit our needs very well, easily accommodating my husband and me, our daughter and our nanny, and it was really well located. You can walk out the front door and see the harbor to your left and the hills of Sausalito to your right. The ferry is only a 5-10 minute walk and a very short walk to any number of coffee shops and restaurants. Parking on the street was generally easy (it's quite a hill, though!). Our hosts were very communicative and helpful (but not overly so in any way), and we would absolutely try to rent the home from them again.
Frank and Kimberley have a lovely home in a great location. Walking distance to the shops and to restaurants, etc. They were very welcoming and offered advice on where to eat and some places to visit. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed.
Lovely place in ideal location.
The house is very family and kids friendly in a great safe neighborhood.
Frank is an awesome host, that you can ask for any advice regarding Sausalito and the City. He went out of his way to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible, and even helped us contest a parking ticket with the Police. To top it of, he brought us freshly caught tuna, on our last night. What more could you ask for?
We can highly recommend Kimberly Frank and Corbin's house.
Lovely house, in a great location. Couldn't have asked for more. Many thanks to Kimberly, Frank and Corbin.
Frank, Kimberly and Corbin are great hosts and all around wonderful people. Kimberly is lovely and she has decorated the place with a great cozy style. Frank is one of those special people who has an infectious personality that you cant help but love right off the bat. The house itself is super cute, located right in the banana belt in Sausalito (aka. warmer weather!) and it sits literally a block from the water. It is walking distance from restaurants, cafes, the SF ferry, movie theaters, shops and galleries... yet still feels nestled away with a great deal of privacy. Five stars*****
I've known Frank for a few years now., met him through friends. Frank is a Prince and quite well known in Sausalito and the surfing community. I would say Frank is reliable, honest, and always takes good care of his friends and family.
The location of their home is fantastic, it's so charming and comfortable. Kim has done an amazing job with it.
