For the sake of being concise, here are the top items others should know about this flat:
- It is roomy. We only had three people but could easily have slept 4 - 5 comfortably.
- While we did not cook, there was a full, modern kitchen that was quite nice.
- There were US travel converters which came in handy since no one in my party remembered to bring them.
- My schedule was constantly changing with regards to check in / check out times. Marc (who handles booking) was VERY attentive and responsive in accommodating these changing requests.
- The location is right by LSE / Royal Courts of Justice.
- Highly recommend.
The location is fantastic and is near Apostrophe and of course a Cafe Nero and Pret. It's also next door to a Twinings store. Spacious - very spacious. The only trouble is the bed - mattress is very old; my back was not happy with it.
Very cosey clean and warm flat. Perfectly situated in central London. Happy to find tea and fresh milk for us. Towels and shower gel was welcome. Beautiful pubs very close where we had excellent meals.
We thourghly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.
Rolf´s apartment is a great place in a fantastic location in central London. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has everything we needed for a working trip in the city. I highly recommend it.
We spent a beautiful week here. The apartment is confortable and well organized. The position is perfect for visiting London by feet, by bus and by tube. We recommend it from all points of view!
Lovely apartment in a great location. Near to the most important zones to visit in London.
There was a slight delay for our airport pickup. The 1st thing that hits you as you get out of the van when you reach the apartmt will be the the FISHY SMELL from the many dried seafood shops around. Fortunately, there was no fishy smell at all in the aprtmt. It was rather an interesting experience to see (& smell) all the dried sea products & my kids playing a guessing game on what's what.
After a smooth journey from airport with the affable Mr Anwar, we were met by Gretchen at the entrance of the building. There's a very short flight of steps you'll need to carry yr luggage before reaching the lift. Like the fuss free & efficient check-in.
A little smaller than I expected but it was sufficient for my family of 6 for the duration of our stay. Kids were not a fan of the wall pics, saying that they looked 'scary' but I dont mind them; the pics sort of gave a fun & light-hearted 'feel' to the place :) They had fun with the PS3 & available games & happy with fast wifi.
We have no problem with the cleanliness, sufficiency of beddings, & it's full kitchen. It was a nice touch providing some titbits & a complimentary bottle of wine. The airconds worked well but the ones in the rooms were noisy. However, the washer+dryer was not working & we had to fork out extras $$ to send dirty laundry to a nearby laundry shop. My only grouse was that we were not told of this. It was fortunate we managed to locate & had time to send piles of dirty laundry to the shop before leaving for a short break in Macau the very next morning.
Good location in terms of ample eateries, distance to MTR & Central pier which is less than 10 mins walk through many interesting shops. Weather was perfect for a slow stroll to Western Market, SOHO, Hollywood street with all the antique shops, Man Mo Temple & the mid levels escalator.
Small apartment for the price- 2 rooms in reality (living, kitchen and bathroom cannot be counted as rooms) however adequate for our needs. Meet and greet person was great and location fantastic for catching a cab or telling cab driver 'near Ibis'. All in all a good stay but mainly because we had friends in Hong Kong and did not need to spend a lot of time in the apartment.
Rolf's house is definitelly one I would recomend.
