It was really cool , really close to las ramblas. A supermarket was just under the appartement so it was really simple to live there. Moreover the bus stop and the subway was next to the appartement. The appartement is very quiet it is very good and secure to live in. It was a good expérience and sandra was very nice.
This apartment was very comfortable, large and clean and well area equipped. Apartment was nice to relax after a long day of walking. the apartment is located close to La Rambla, Magic Fontan and Maritime Museum. The wheel house is a two Supermarkets, Merkat St. Antony, metro Paral-lel. If you go straight down the street in front of the door, you found delicious kruasants. Sandra and her mother were very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this apartment and the their restaurant, which is located 20 minutes from the house.
Sandra was very friendly, and meet us near appartment. We were late for 30 min, but she wait us all this time. Thx her very much for it!
The flat has good location( 20 min to Rambla, 2 min to underground and 25 min to train station walking) and it big enough for 5 persons.
Unfortunately, only neighbors were a little bit loud ( a guy from the first floor liked to sing in the late evening =).
Кitchen has all staff, exept microwave and kettle.
But in general, I think this is a good variant for such price.
Good location and nice apartment with everything young people on a short stay needed. A previous reviewer said opening the apartment door was a problem; it is true that it is a little tricky but there was a certain knack to it and once you learned that it was fine.
Really Nice Sandra that was helpfull .. The flat was near all places . Unfortunately it miss microwave ans real coffee machine . We spend good Time but we have to be honest: the place look and clean was far away from picture .. We were dispointed. It was a gift for a couple of friend ;( ... We were with kids So hard to warm a feeding bottle without micro wave.. And neighboor hiting the wall when you walk
Everything was fine. Sandra communicated before our arive gave all info and answers to our questions. She met us at the apartment when we arrived (needs to be mentioned that we were late). Gave us two pares of keys gave exact info and instructions. During the stay everything was fine, neighbors are quite and plesant. The location is perfect, near house is a nice supermarket and all main barcelonas palces may be reached in 2-4km. One thing that should be mentioned it is parking (there are always few free parking lost) but in evening its is harder to find free lot, so sometimes we parked car 200-300m away. Sunday and saturday parkings are for free and working days till 9.00AM and after 8:00 PM also for free. Be aware about where you are parking car if it is in not proper place your car will be carried away and forced to pay penalty ~200Euro. Conclusion if ill come to barcelona again I will stay at this apartment.
Flat is quite big. The most important is the location. It's close to the metro station and near La Rambla, 10 minutes walk.
Todo perfecto. Sandra nos recibió muy bien y no tuvimos ningún problema. Estuvimos 6 personas y nos acomodamos sin problemas. Está bien ubicado, es amplio y cómodo.
I can't say I honestly share the views of the rest of the people that stayed in the apartment. Sandra is very helpful and charming and has indeed gone out of her way to quickly remedy some omissions (missing towels, sheets etc.) but the apartment is in need of maintenance.
The entrance door doesn't close unless forced and if locked is very difficult to unlock (to the point that I felt the key would break in my hands). The kitchen cupboards sink and appliances are old and have seen better days. The tile floor is spotted with paint spatter from back when the walls were painted. The wooden windows are old and hard to operate, letting some draft in while the one in the bathroom is rotted away at places due to constant water exposure. The window at the makeshift 'office' area are essentially rolled up blinds, held together with a taut rope around them, fixed to the side of the window casing to prevent it from rolling down. No main heating apart from isolated electric radiators (one for each of the rooms) and an AC unit in the main sitting area. The overall feeling I got was that it could also have been a lot cleaner and yes, I’m very picky about that.
The elevator can only fit three people (or two with luggage) and is a very tight fit. The apartment was on the fourth floor and its entrance was through a glass door that led to a short, exposed to the elements internal balcony (facing the inside open space of the apartment block) which in turn leads to the apartment door. The kitchen faced this ‘balcony’ as well and to tell you the truth, although there were bars on the window, one could easily reach and open the window (it’s a glass shutter type) or break one of the shutter panes and see inside. Also the kitchen and bathroom are extremely small for the size of the apartment.
I didn’t care about the occasional upstairs apartment noise every now and again, not that big an issue infrequent, short and not loud. Very good apartment position, metro and some sights very close by indeed and the neighbors in the building were very friendly although we were very clearly foreign guests (four in total).
The price was low but I'd have expected more and having seen what the apartment actually looks like, I definitely wouldn't stay here again unless it was renovated and meticulously cleaned. It’s a pity because Sandra is a very nice person and eager to help (she even got out of her way to come and meet us far from the apartment to deliver the keys). If the place was renovated, I’d strongly suggest it.
