I work in VFX in Vancouver BC (have worked in film here forEVER :) which keeps me really, really busy so not too much time to travel but I love discovering new cities near my own and getting a little further out whenever I can. Keen to find great hidden shops and boutiques, new restaurants (favorites are limitless, I just love good food!) and just chilling out in a park with a coffee on a sunny day. Strolling about, taking it all is the type of travel I'm generally looking for.
I'm a very respectful, tidy person, not because I have to be but because it's simply my nature. I like a clean, fresh space that I can find inspiring, comfy and makes you instantly feel at home. With that though, I love character - a mix of culture and ideas coming together in the right way.
Some specifics...non smoker, do a lot of yoga these days, horseback ride as much as I can, into bracelet making (I know, bit of an odd one ;) huge into cars, currently into finding amazing ciders and rosEs. Spend quality time with my close friends, my niece and nephew and the rest of the family.
Most recently I headed over to Tofino for a surf trip and I get down to Portland and Seattle frequently. I was lucky to travel Europe in my youth with my family and since have kept my trips to North America due to work schedules but am looking forward to a change in that pace and am keen to travel Asia, Vietnam & Cambodia specifically as soon as I have enough time away!
Currently I live in Vancouver with 4 roommates in a beautifully restored heritage home! We have a gorgeous back yard with a tranquil pond, hot tub and a great patio for summer BBQ's. We all live together really well, respecting the space and each others privacy so I'm no stranger to sharing space and getting on with new people.
Clearly I'm new to airbnb but am so looking forward to my upcoming trips to Montreal and San Fransisco this summer and am keen book a vacation rental rather than a frumpy hotel ;) If you want to touch base to learn more about me and/or those I'm traveling with I'm keen to discuss further!
