Very good correspondence with Matthieu both leading up to the stay and during when we were trying to fix a wifi problem. Great apartment, perfect for a ski base, with everything one needs. A good stay, thank you.
Parfait. Hôte hyper sympa et précis. Appartement parfaitement bien placé et tout équipé. Rien à repproché à cet appartement, je reviendrai.
Perfect. Super nice and accurate host. Apartment perfectly positioned and fully equipped. Nothing to repproche this apartment, I will return.
Very nice bright appartment in a good location. Very close to a bakery, supermarket and most importantly to the lifts - only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the gondola.
It's an fantastic appartment for a family of 4 (parents with two kids) - one room has double bed and another small room has bunk beds plus there's ample living space in the main room.
Things to keep in mind - the apparment is on 5th floor with no lift, so not great if you have massive bags. There're ski lockers on the ground floor so at least you won't have to carry your ski upstairs.
Also, internet connection (via orange 3g dongle) was somewhat slow and intermittant... Could be just us being unlucky.
Overall - great appartment in a great location with everything you need to have a great week or two in Courchevel! Would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. And special thanks to the great host Matthieu!
The reservation was canceled 17 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Matthieu was a great host. He was very quick to get back to us regarding any issues or questions. The Apt is close to a real nice local bakery to the left when you leave and just below the Praz Chair-Lift. I'd definitely consider staying there again.
We also forgot a shirt there that has sentimental value and Matthieu has offered to send it to us.
Thank you Matthieu!
Matthieu was a great host. He was very responsive and answered thoroughly to our questions regarding our stay. The place works out great for four of us and is located in a very convenient area with close proximity to a grocery, bakery, and a butcher shop. Perfect for skiing in the Courchevel area!!
Myself and two friends just spent a terrific weekend skiing 3 vallees and using Matthieu's place in Le Praz as our base.
Pros - Cleanliness, location, value, communication with the host; the view.
Cons - Bring your own bedding and towels; the apartment is comfortable for 3-4 people but might be a bit cramped with more.
In sum, I would recommend it to a friend. Thanks Matthieu!
Super appart, superbe vue, proprio sympa ! Impec !
The flat is very well situated, you can take you ski shoes on at home and walk to the lifts up to 3 valleys. Rental is across the road. There are many good restaurants in Le Praz, but you always need to book a table in advance. It's much cheaper to live in Courchevel 1300 - Le Praz than in Courchevel 1850. If you go skiing or snowboarding for a week or so, then Matthieu's flat is a good choice. It's very small, but it was ok for us five. You need to take your sheets and towels with you, don't forget about it!
There is a kitchen stove, but there is no oven. There is a lot of dish.
The communication was very good, I asked many things and Matthieu always answered them.
Courchevel 1850, Meribel and Val Thoren are ease accessible in the day by lifts, but in the evening it's rather far away by ski buses.
The place is really nice and clean.
The Location - the place is very close to the lifts (300m), and you can leave your skis at the sport shop which is even closer, so you won't have to carry them with you.
The kitchen is well equipped even though it is really small. you can really cook there..
The size... everything is very very small. especially the bath&toilets (only one user at a time).
You need to bring your own sheds and towels, takes a lot of place and weight if you're coming from abroad.
5th floor, no elevator - quite a trip with the luggage..
All together the place is functional but quite 'Spartan'. recommended for young groups how seek the best ski-site in Europe (3 valleys) without spending to much.
