We love to travel. In fact, we met traveling and it's been a big part of our life. We go to Europe every year, usually to France and Italy, but we manage to get to Spain and Britain too to visit Jayne's family. We've also been to Japan and China, and Jayne lived in Africa for a year. We lived and worked in the Caribbean for some time too.
We left our corporate jobs in 2004 and now have our own company in health and wellness for business travelers. We love to cook and Michael's a certified sommelier so we like to explore cuisines and wines when we travel.
We watch way too many food shows on TV and Jayne loves documentaries about food politics (love Michael Pollan!). Michael is fascinated by all things Everest but hasn't made that trip yet. Anything French gets a thumbs up as Jayne has spoken French since she was a child and loves to return to La Belle France at every opportunity but she's been studying Italian on and off for a few years to add to her "collection" which includes Spanish and Arabic as well. We're enjoying exploring Italy since it calls us as a culinary destination and because the culture and language are so beautiful.
In the US, we have spent a lot of time in California which we love. We live in a relatively undiscovered part of eastern central Florida, by the beach, so we're rarely looking for beach time when we travel. It's more likely to be culture and cuisine for us.
As business and property owners, we're very respectful guests. We prefer to avoid hotels because they're so impersonal and we like to have the option to eat "at home" if we're on a long trip, even if it's take-out. Pets are no problem. We have a cat, who doesn't travel with us, so we're usually missing her and are happy to stay at properties that have cats, dogs and other animals.
We look forward to meeting you on our travels and to making your property part of our next memories!
