Former Bed & Breakfast owners that love to meet new people!
Bad weather on Cape Cod kept us from our stay, but the Geraghty's were flexible in letting us reschedule. We are looking forward to staying with them in the coming year.
Peter and Adele have set up a perfect Cape getaway. The house is absolutely gorgeous and feels like home as soon as you walk in. The bedroom and sitting area are spacious affording you the room to spread out a bit. Lily the Golden Retriever is fantastic and very friendly. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet Cape getaway and will certainly book again when I return to the Cape.
Pete and Adele were more than the perfect hosts - it was like staying with family. The house was so clean and the hosts made us very welcome, going out of their way to provide us with information about Cape Cod and the area in general.
The breakfasts were excellent and very different to anything we have had before. A truly wonderful place to spend time and we would recommend the Guest House to anyone who wants a really enjoyable stay.
Adele and Peter are the perfect hosts for the perfect guesthouse. They were wonderful company, extremely thoughtful and made the stay an experience we will remember forever. A true privilege to have stayed with them. The house is spotless, thoughtfully decorated and in a great spot -- you'll feel both a "part of" the place and far enough away from the touristy spots so that it doesn't feel overwhelming. A magical experience. We are already planning our next excuse to visit Cape Cod.
Pete and Adele are a lovely couple who truly care about their guests. Lily is a beautiful and friendly girl who will greet you and be happy to see you when you visit. You could not ask for nicer hosts. Their home is beautifully decorated in keeping with its historic character and our accommodations in the Friendship Corner Guest House were so neat and very clean. The bedroom, living/sitting room and bath room areas including the upstairs bedroom setup suited our family of four well. I would not hesitate recommending a stay here! We had a great time. Pete and Adele provided local knowledge of the Harwich area, recommending several excellent choices for lunch and dinners as well as directions to the wedding venue we were there to attend. Breakfasts were perfect and delicious and Adele came up with the perfect combination of items for our family ( we do not typically eat large breakfasts) of light breakfast eaters. please consider staying here if you plan to visit the Cape!
Everything was lovely and looked exactly like the pictures! We had a large bedroom with an amazing air conditioning unit and a nice sitting room with TV and books. Also a private bathroom. Pete and Adele were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. They also cooked amazing breakfasts of souffles and apple french toast! They provided us with many recommendations of things to do in the area which was most appreciated.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Friendship Corner Guest House for our first trip to the Cape--and we are so happy that we did. From the delicious breakfasts to the local recommendations (beaches, restaurants, lavender farm, and other activities) Adele, Pete and Lily were fantastic hosts and made us feel more like family than house guests.
The house is centrally located in Harwich, which we found to be extremely convenient. It is walking distance to bike/running trails and tennis courts and is a short 5 minute drive to Harwich Port (beaches, restaurants, and more importantly -- Sundae School). We also drove to Gray's Beach (in Yarmouth -- free beach), Chatham, and Hyannis and were pleased to find each of these were only 20-30 minute drives from the house. Overall, the accommodation was very comfortable and spacious. We truly enjoyed getting to know Adele, Pete, and Lily and can't wait for another trip back to the Cape.
We had a wonderful stay at the Friendship Corner Guest House. Adele, Peter and, of course, Lily (the golden retriever) clearly enjoy having guests in their home. They were interested in learning about us as well as sharing their own stories. The accommodations were very comfortable with the sitting area as an added bonus. Harwich is a charming town and the Guest House is centrally located, near the Cape Cod Trail for an early morning run.
From the moment we arrived, we felt the overwhelming hospitality. Pete and Adele were very attentive to our every need and had great suggestions for hidden local gems. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and conversation.
The inn itself was lovely and homey with beautiful antiques, tasteful Cape motif, and very comfortable accommodations. The location was great, mid-Cape, near beaches, bike trails, and restaurants. We are definitely looking forward to returning.
Adele & Pete were the ideal hosts: warm, welcoming & friendly, full of helpful information about the area, and always willing to offer tips and suggestions on things to do and places to go. All amenities were perfectly curated and thoughtful, and we felt very comfortable staying with them. Breakfasts (and our time chatting) were great, our room was roomy and comfortable, and most of all, getting to know Adele & Pete was an unexpected but delightful highlight of our trip. The area was ideal as well, giving us the chance to drive to Harwich Port, Chatham, Eastham, Wellfleet and Provincetown, all in just two days! Thank you for everything!
Wonderful couple and beautifully restored antique house that is within walking distance of many things. The golden is a sweet pup that is like a therapy dog. You will not be disappointed if you stay with these great hosts!
