The apartment is just like you see on pictures. Very cozy and bright with full equipped kitchen. Easy check in and out with the doorman. Huge grocery market right around the corner. Would love to stay there again next time.
Perfect Stay, good apt., nice building
This was my first trip to NY and airbnb experience. Nicolas was easy to contact and responded promptly to my emails. The apartment was just like the photos. It was very clean and homey. The location was great! Theres a subway line right down the street and bars, coffee shops, restuarants nearby. Chelsea piers was only a 10-15 min walk. The shower had strong water pressure. Towels and hair dryer were provided. We had a great time!
The studio is really nice and looks exactly the same in reality as on the photos. It is in a nice area with lots of cafes, restaurants, shops and bars. Also, the amazing Highline park is not far away. There are several subways you can use, the closest one is the red line (a 2 minute walk). The kitchen is fully equipped (though we did not use it), the fridge is clean, there are some books, a subway map, a hairdryer, an iron, and there are also some candles in the bathroom. In short: I can recommend this appartment!
However, we only give four (four and a half, if that was possible) stars because of the delayed communication with Nicholas. We wrote three emails before our arrival and got an answer only for the last one one day before we left for NYC (we were afraid that we would have to find a new place to sleep in the short term). Also, when we wanted to move out, we did not get any answer so that we decided on our own what to do with the keys (leave them in the mail box).
But: After we had contact everything went fine - it was no problem to get our keys after arrival and Nick was very uncomplicated in turning them back. So it is only half a star that we should subtract, but that is not possible.
In short: We recommend this appartment! Thanks, Nick, for all.
Nick was an excellent host. He met us on arrival with the keys and was very flexible about checking out. The apartment itself was clean and the location is great if you want to explore Midtown.
Very glad to have booked this apartment, was very central, and a stones throw from the red line. Found the place to be very clean and comfortable for a short ny stay. I think our biggest problem was the lack of a chopping knife in an otherwise well equipped kitchen, so we couldn't complain. Would stay here again. Nick was helpful and urged that we call if we needed help. Worth every penny.
great apartment! great location! recommend it to anyone traveling to NYC!
Thank you Nicolas, it was a very pleasant stay!
