My husband and I have been living in San Francisco since 1999. We currently enjoy our 2 year old son's energy and amusement. We love to travel and explore.

Really lovely spot in a great, quiet neighborhood. The only issue was spotty, intermittent wifi which is not a problem if you don't need it.
We had a wonderful home in Christa's wonderful cottage. It was adequate space for three adults. It was a last minute reservation and she was gracious to accept us. Thank you Christa
What a great cottage! All the privacy and amenities of home including a full kitchen, located in an outstanding area of Noe Valley for walking to coffee shops and restaurants. I'll be back!
The cottage was a perfect solution for hosting my mother who was visiting us. The cottage was equipped with everything that she needed and and she found it very comfortable and cozy. Christa was very easy to work with and everything was seamless.
We will definitely use this as a Noe Valley guest cottage for other visitors in the future.
We're three-time visitors to Christa's cottage, because it's just so convenient and lovely! Both sets of parents have stayed as well, and agree wholeheartedly.
A lovely very quiet, private place to stay in a safe neighborhood with convenient grocery, coffee shops and great restaurants, I would definitely stay here again. The plants and flowers are beautiful!
My wife and I stayed at the Garden Cottage for 3 nights. We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage is in a very nice section of San Francisco and the and it was very quiet in the cottage during the day and the evening. The queen size bed was comfortable and the kitchen had glasses, cups, plates and silverware available for the guest's use. Transportation is nearby and there are several stores and eateries in the area. there is a small TV and about two dozen DVD's for your entertainment. The bathroom had all of the amenities you need.
The only two things that we found that need attention is the lack of a working outlet next to the mirror in the bathroom (my wife had to use the outlet in the kitchen with the aid of a small mirror). Secondly, the luggage rack was broken and could mot be used.
We only met Christa and her husband once but they seemed friendly, outgoing and willing to answer any of your questions..
My parents had a very nice stay at Christa's cottage. The place was clean and they would stay there again.
Christa is a great host and we had a great trip. the place was lovely. I'd love to go back!
Honestly the best sleep I've ever had on a work trip! Christa's little cottage is immaculate, cozy, homey and *quiet*. It was hard to believe I was even in the city. Coupled with the insanely comfortable bed and incredibly soft linens I slept more soundly than I have in weeks. The bathroom was hotel immaculate, with lovely toiletries, great hair dryer, big fluffy towels and an excellent shower. The kitchen is bright and fully equipped for any cooking you'd like to do, including french press, gas stove, dishwasher, everything. It was like being at home, honestly. I'd rent this place long term if it was available :) A perfect pied-à-terre for exploring San Francisco or relaxing if you're on business.
Christa was responsive and friendly, even though we didn't actually meet. She leaves a binder with instructions for everything in the rental, and key exchange was simple and easy. I actually prefer Airbnb hosts who leave me to my own devices. As nice as it can be to meet new people, when I'm traveling for work I usually just want to be quiet and decompress. Staying at the cottage was one of the best experiences I've had with Airbnb and was honestly better than any hotel experience I've had in San Francisco. A true gem in a lovely neighbourhood.
