We have been guests in Sara's cozy home many times, and prefer it to anything else we've experienced in Paris. It's a great little place in the perfect location: close to the Metro, with a residential feel, steps from the best croissant, chocolate, and cheese shops on Rue du Commerce. And, it sits back from the street in a quaint little private garden courtyard. You'll feel more Parisian than a baguette and brie. Then again, you can pickup both between the Metro and your home, after a long day of easily accessible museums, shops, and sightseeing.
During the 6 years I have known Sara I have had the pleasure of house sitting her apartment numerous times. One of the best things about Sara's apartment is the fact that it's on the ground floor of a courtyard and in the summers it's very enjoyable to sit out in the sun while having a nice lunch and glass of wine. Apart from having all the essential necessities and being beautifully lit and cozy, it is also extremely well located. You can comfortably get to any part of Paris by metro which is only a 3 min walk from the apartment and the Seine and Eiffel Tower are just a 10 min walk away. The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet and is right next to rue du commerce which has many great shops and cafes that are reasonably priced despite it's close vicinity to the touristic area of the 7eme.
If you are looking for a comfortable, convenient, homelike experience while visiting Paris, I can confidently say that Sara's apartment is definitely the place to stay.
