Living in Dublin city centre, with a house too big for one couple. Hoping to house swap or rent out short term.
Love to travel and meet people from around the world, and practice my limited vocab in foreign languages.
Paul was an absolutely brilliant host, very helpful and accommodating. The room was quite large and very clean and comfortable. Fantastic that the WiFi in the place was fast as well.
The house itself is in a quiet neighbourhood and is a close enough to have a leisurely stroll to the city centre.
Would definitely come here again should I visit Ireland next.
The stay with Paul and Emerson was great.
The rooms are quite large and beautiful. On top of that you have access to a lovely kitchen, living room, and a great garden. Paul and Emerson both gave us a great amount of privacy but were sure to make themselves available to help us with getting around or if any problems came up.
The flat is located on the north side of Dublin so it's not the closest you could get to the "sites" probably, but it's all definitely still within walking distance. Plus there is a massively robust bus system.
All in all we had a wonderful experience and we highly recommend staying here :)
Very nice place with clean rooms. Very nice Host and a very quiet (website hidden)ès bel appartement, les chambres sont propres et confortables. Un excellent rapport qualité (website hidden)ès bien situé. Comptez 15mn à pied pour être dans le centre de Dublin ou 5mn en bus max.
The room was just as advertised. Great bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor deck. Paul and Emory were pleasant and helpful hosts. Nice location, very convenient to the buses, and also walkable to O’Connell Street (10 minutes), the main tourist area. There are two grocery stores in the area, which allowed us to fix our own meals. The hosts lived in the second floor which allowed privacy, but accessibility if we needed something. Paul did our laundry for us which was wonderful. We would definitely stay again.
Helpful tip: If you are visiting Dublin for multiple days, purchase the multi-day buss pass on O'Connell St. It is good for 3 or 5 days. Buses run throughout the city and surrounding area. Then download the Dublin Bus app for your smart phone. It give your routes and timetables.
Paul was a great host. The flat was very nice with everything you need to rest and relax after a day in Dublin. There are small cafes, a deli, and a drug store nearby, which was quite convenient. We totally enjoyed are stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
Our stay at Paul house was fantastic! The house was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and nice, and close to the city center. But the best was the honer, Paul is a gentle host that cares about his guess. Our Stay at Paul's was one of the best our trip in EIRE.
Of course, we will recommend this accommodation in Dublin!

Paul was really kind and clever. Nice to chat with him. The place is nice, really cool room with a hudge and comfortable bed! Is a bit far from the center but really not a problem...
Le séjour chez Paul a été très agréable, l appartement est convivial et de bon gout et le petit jardin attenant est charmant , la situation géographique de l appartement permet de se rendre facilement dans le centre de Dublin , a pied ou en bus,
Paul was an absolutely fantastic host. The room was clean and airy and the bed was so unbelievably comfortable it really could have been a hotel. The bathroom was perfect too - lots of hot water and very modern. Overall, the house itself has an air of charming seclusion. It's clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. There isn't much right on the block but it's a quick 20 minute walk to the main throughfare and the bus, which comes very regularly, is just one block away. Also, it's very convenient to the Botanical Gardens, the square of Remembrance, and the Writer's Museum. It's a great oasis to come back to after long days of exploring!
When I arrived, Paul sorted out little details with me immediately (spare key, bus routes, water heater etc). He was very organized, which wasn't surprising given how responsive he was over email. He then gave me a little walking tour of Dublin, which I incredibly appreciated, and helped me get situated by showing me the tourist's office and explaining the various ways to get around.
Throughout my stay Paul, and his warm and charming partner Emerson, were unfailingly gracious, polite, and helpful. They offered cups of coffee, tips about the city, helpful advice, and frequently their very lovely company at every turn. Paul was remarkably thoughtful as a host, for instance putting on the radiator when the weather took a cooler dip my first day there. This was my first airbnb experience and thanks largely to Paul and Emerson it was definitely a success!
