I have lived in San Francisco for over 20 years and can give you some tips on where to go and interesting things to see and do.
Such a wonderful stay in San Francisco, lovely central location on Buena Vista park, easy to get everywhere and great food and shops nearby, adorable breakfast nook for the mornings looking at the Basilica and crystal clear views, and of course the charming 1920s touches. A very sweet stay, David was very helpful guiding us to the apartment as well! Highly recommend.
Our first impressions were not disappointed. The apartment is well located, the neighborhood is gorgeous and David is a very helpful and kind host. The apartment was very clean equipped with the most necessary. We really recommend David's apartment for a SF visit.
Cute little apartment with a great view and so sunny! Was perfect for our week in the city, very central and easy to get around using only public tranist. It had everything we needed - a place to crash & to keep our stuff, and to make eggs and coffee for breakfast. (great eggs from the nearby Haight Street farmer's market!) Buena Vista neighborhood was beautiful and a fun hub to explore the city from.
We stayed 4 nights in David's apartment and felt very comfortable! It is really well located and nice furnished. We really enjoyed our stay. David was very flexible with our arrival time - many thanks!
Prior to staying in the Financial district for a conference we were looking for a place to settle in and explore the city. This place was perfect. Extremely easy to navigate the city by walking, biking, public transportation. The street was quiet, the park beautiful, the apartment cozy and bright. A few coffee and food gems a hilly scenic stroll away.
We had a great time at David's wonderful apartment. The location was great, the apartment is beautiful and clean, and David was beyond accommodating when it came to getting us set up. We would most definitely stay there again.
David was a welcoming and helpful host. The apartment was clean and fairly well equip with most of the things we required. Location was perfect for us, great area with shopping, caves and easy access to transport to get around the whole of the city. David made our stay as easy as possible. Would stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.
David's place was centrally located and made it easy to visit many sites, restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The view from the window is beautiful.
David's apartment was great! There was plenty to do nearby and it was remarkably easy to get around the whole city from that location. The apartment itself was very clean and stocked with everything needed to make our stay comfortable. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a getaway to San Francisco.
My stay here was perfect! The apartment is oozing with 1920s deco charm, as is the entire building. It is also sunny, comfortable, well-appointed, and quiet. Buena Vista Park is literally across the street, and there's even a view of the Golden Gate Bridge off to the right (provided it isn't shrouded in bay fog). The location is very convenient. Buses are available at the corner, and the MUNI line is just a few short blocks away. Just a heads-up, though: Some of the hills nearby may be daunting for those not accustomed to scaling such steep grades, so be sure to pack appropriate shoes! The host, David, was both helpful and agreeable. I had a fairly late scheduled arrival time, which then became very late after a 3-hour delayed departure from New York. David kept track of my flight online and graciously accommodated me. Next time I plan a trip to San Francisco, I'll be sure to book here again.
David is a great host and has an awesome apartment in a great SF location. The building is just enough paces away from Haight Street and high enough across from a park, to be quiet & peaceful, with a great view and lots of light. The apartment and building are vintage & charming, but well maintained, and the apartment. Walk out the door and within a few blocks are all the food, shopping, liveliness of upper or lower Haight. Bus line picks up right on the corner to get downtown quickly.
