We had a great time at Lars' place. Copenhagen is easy to get around, there's a bus stop pretty close and you have the use of Lars' bikes. The bed is super comfortable and we looked forward to it every night.
Communication with Lars was very easy, and he's super friendly. He was out of town when we stayed, but sent a nice friend to welcome and orient us. In addition, he wrote us up a really nice document with things to do everyday we were in Copenhagen.
Good location in vibrant Nørrebro with bars and restaurant
Welcoming and easygoing host, easy check in and out.
Apt perfekt for two, a little bit too dusty but decent.
Good value for money, especially because of the bikes.
The neighbors can be very noisy.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lars's apartment. While we weren't able to meet him, check-in went very smoothly, with a couple of his friends there to let us in and give us the keys. It is a bit north of the main downtown area, but Lars let us use his bikes to get around, and that made for a memorable experience. Copenhagen is known for being very bike-friendly, and even if you don't like cycling in cities with lots of traffic, the bike lanes make it quite safe and manageable. The apartment is part of a large building with lots of neighbours, but it was never too noisy. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at Lars' place. Just like it says: it's cosy and perfect for couples.
We were welcomed by his friend Christiane since Lars was on holiday himself. Christiane was very nice and welcoming and showed us around the apartment. We had some troubles with our car and arrived later than we had planned but still she waited for us.
The apartment itself was clean and everything was as described on here. Because of the big windows there's lots of light in the apartment and the decoration style is modern with a personal touch.
It was cool to have a kitchen to use since Copenhagen is soooo expensive. Supermarkets are nearby, so it's no trouble to do some shopping on your way home to have dinner at the apartment. Even if you don't feel like cooking, there's lots of cafes around where you can get food until late at night.
Since Copenhagen is probably the most bicyle-friendly town on earth it was great to get to bikes with the apartment to get around the city. The bikes were in good shape and came with locks so we could set right off. It was very convenient to have a backyard to park the bikes in.
Lars also provided us with a map of the area and some suggestions were to go for a walk and how best to explore the surroundings of his aparment which was very helpful.
The apartment is located in Nørrebro, a very cool area that has lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, parks and even some cool fleamarkets on saturday. It's a good starting point to explore Copenhagen since it's only a short bikeride away from the city center, Nyhavn, Christiania and Vesterbro.
We came by car and there were plenty of spaces to park the car free of charge outside the apartment.
If you travel to Copenhagen I'd strongly recommend you to stay at Lars' place, I know I will whenever I make it back there. It's convenient, cosy and definetely good value for money.
Lars, thanks for letting us stay with you, I hope we can meet in person the next time.
We had a nice time at Lars flat. It's clean and cosy but there is an elevator directly next to the falt. So it's nothing for people who wake up easily. But all in all it's a good starting point to discover the wonderful city Copenhagen!
Didnt get a chance to meet Lars prob because we booked the night before but he called me up the next morning to arrange check-in! We met his friend Cecilie who picked us up at the bus stop. She was friendly and helpful (and pretty:)) and told us where things were.
Lars place is really cool from his decor to the location it was very close to the bus stop, supermarket and really enjoyed our stay... Only bad thing I'd that we didn't have enought time in Copenhagen def need to go back again.
Thanks Lars for letting us stay in your nice place would def recommend staying there to other fellow air bnb travelers!!
