A wonderful hostess. The guest house was very close to everything and was the perfect Berkeley experience. Make sure to have the Peking Duck at Great China! Highly recommended.
Perfect apartment in downtown Berkeley area! Fruit, chocolate, and fixings for breakfast were a welcoming touch. Clean, sunny, comfortable, and convenient. Thanks, Tricia, for a lovely stay.
Tricia and her husband are very nice. My family was welcomed a very clean house with all the necessary stuff for daily life prepared. Tricia also provided some fruit and milk for us. The house has everything we need so that we were just like at home. It is a good choice for the trip.
My partner and I had accommodations fall through very last-minute on Valentine's Day and with literally every hotel and airbnb booked, we were so incredibly grateful when Tricia got back to us within an hour of our request and approved us to stay. She welcomed us in to the space so graciously and had left breakfast supplies for us, which we were so grateful to have. Sweet little back courtyard, beautiful antique/vintage furnishings, so spacious and comfortable. The kind of cottage you would love to live in!
We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The apartment was beautifully presented with everything needed. The bed is super comfortable, and it's wonderfully quiet at night. The BART is a five minute walk away. We arrived late and were pleased to find some food waiting for us after a long day of traveling. Really made our stay special. We'll be back!
This was a wonderful place to stay, quiet, restful and spacious. The hosts were very kind.
Tricia was such a great and accommodating host! On our first day, she even had some food items and coffee ready in the kitchen, just to make us feel at home! We met her family, all very nice. The house was very private in the back, we came in and out as we pleased, it did feel like our own, and we always safe. The house had everything we needed, and it was in a prime Berkeley location. Easy walk to BART and other local favorites! It was overall a great stay!
Our second stay, and great again
We had a great time staying in Tricia's backyard apt. It is very charming and well equipped, and we were grateful for the milk and coffee so we didn't have to go out right away and find something for breakfast.
It's a great location very close to the downtown BART station.
I heartily recommend it!
This is a terrific place. A large bedroom and even larger living room dining room area, nice kitchen. Located well off the street and very quiet it was perfect. The neighborhood requires a parking permit (provided), but I parked every night directly in front of house. I could find no fault with the cleanliness, and the host was very prompt in responding to emails and messages. I would definitely stay here again.
Tricia and friends were wonderful guests. They were friendly, left the place clean, and had great communications throughout. Kim
Tricia and Dan are the perfect guests. They were friendly, quiet and clean. Highly recommend guests and they are welcome to stay with us any time in the future. Thanks!
Tricia was a wonderful guest and a pleasure to host. She was easy to communicate with, quiet, and clean. She is welcome back anytime.
Tricia was a true pleasure to host. Very nice to visit with, clean, considerate and friendly. Highest recommendation!!
Tricia is the ultimate warm and gracious host. Everything about her says "Welcome!" and she makes people feel instantly at home. She has created a very comfortable oasis of calm and relaxation that is only a stone's throw from all the excitement that Berkeley has to offer. Tricia is very friendly but also respectful of her guests' privacy. In addition, she is very knowledgeable about the area and can provide excellent tips about things to see and do while exploring Berkeley, San Francisco and other parts of the Bay Area. As an experienced Airbnb host and traveler myself, I can heartily recommend Tricia's lovely garden apartment to anyone considering a stay in Berkeley.
