Before we went to Greece, we'd been a bit hesitant about spending a month at the same place. However we didn't regert it. Stergios gave us "instructions" where to go, what to visit, where to eat and what to do. He hit a bull's eye! The weather, the sea and beaches were perfect. The neighbors were very friendly and fun to talk to. Our kids loved 'em. It was absolutely worth visiting Greece!!! The last but not the least... the house is awesome, excellent for visitors with kids, equipped with all one can wish for. Highly recommended!!! Thanks a billion for you help!!!
We had a very nice stay at the Beach House. The garden was lovely, we especially liked eating out on the terasse. The beach was very close, as was the supermarket and the center of the village.
The house was very clean, however the room in the basement felt a little wet. And we missed some closets in the rooms.
Steryios was very nice and helping. We found the house easily, thanks to the very good directions he gave us. Our children had a very nice time, as well. They said, they would like to come back next year! :)
Less pleasent was the fact, that we had to bring out own bed sheets. For us, it was ok, as we traveled by car, but it might be a problem for people arriving by plane.
All in all, it was a very nice experience and we do recommend the Beach House as a nice place to stay and Fourka as a nice village to spend the summer holidays in. The people are very friendly everywhere! Thank You, Steryios!
Nice place for quiet vacantion.
The place was great - at night the air smelled as if it was filled with honey! The sea is awesome! I surely advice the place for those who like the holidays at sea. The house itself is quite ok, not too big but we spent almost all the days out, so for the nights everything was enough. I haven't met Steryios personally, but while boking he was always ready to help, and there we were met by very pleasant and careful people - Armen and Anna. General impression of Greece - we felt the crisis, but anyway there was a lot of fresh fish and seafood, tasty bread and milk products and awesome Feta.
For those who would like to see more of Greece - you'd better rent a car - if you go to Thessaloniki, go to Aggelaki street there're plenty of car rentals, 25EUR per day seemed not expensive to us. Usually in Europe we never rent a car and travel around the country by train, but alas there are no trains in Greece, and going by public bus is tiresome, When we got the car we felt free - we visited all the towns around, enjoyed different beaches and saw dolphins. You should definitely go to the Posidi beach that is not far from Scala Fourka.
