We stayed during the first week of October and had a wonderful time. The villa is very much as described by Agnes here on Air BNB. As a host her and her husband were absolutely fantastic and were on hand quickly if we needed.
The villa is split into a number of zones each with their own kitchens and bathrooms so would be great if staying with a few families. Each kitchen had everything you needed.
The main living room area was perfect for the family to gather in the evening if the evenings were too cold. They had two main outside areas, one close to the pool that is a real sun trap!
The swimming pool was a great size and we were in it most days. Being October is was slightly chilly but that did not bother the kids!
Location wise it feels idea. We did a number of day trips to the lake, Perugia and further afield to sienna. There is a great local shop with very friendly staff!
If I had one gripe/recommendation… All of the bed on the lower floor are ‘Super firm’. If you want a softer bed grab on of the ones at the top of the house!
I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone looking. A great find I hope to go back to again soon! Thank you!
I just spent a wonderful week at the Villa Farneto. The description just matches perfectly. The house is huge and provides enough space for 14 or even 16 people. The little house by the Pool with its wine cellar, the kitchen and the wonderful BBQ area was perfect. We enjoyed the stay a lot as we could not only stay by the pool but also made trips to Perugia, Siena, Casiglione del Lago and Rome.
Casa deliziosa, molto accogliente, con posizione vicina al centro con facile accesso alle scale mobili. Se ricapiterà l'occasione di certo torneremo a Via Deserta!
This was very difficult accommodation to find as the streets are majority one way and More like footpaths. No wonder they drive smart cars, ours was a station wagon with an inch either side for mobility. Accommodation was all right. Couldn't use the lovely lounge area due to severe damp and strong algea smell. Upstairs very small as we had 5 adults, so very confined as this was where we had to live. The location itself was excellent and the neighbour gorgeous. Upon arrival we had to wait over half an hour to receive a key, and left a day earlier than planned.
If the smell was somehow corrected in the Lounge it would be good accommodation. As it is I would only recommend for a couple.

Agnes is great- she picked us up from the train station even though we arrived late. The apartment is lovely although there is a lot of mildew on the lower floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Cute apartment, super close to the main corso, but still quiet. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking, with a little balcony to relax on. Agnes was awesome - picked us up from the train station and immediately had the hot water fixed when she realized it wasn't working upon our arrival. Couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay for UmbriaJazz on our honeymoon!
